Anyways episode names and dates have been released for the first 6 episodes, no descriptions yet:
"Steps Into Shadow" (September 24th): This is both episode 1 and 2 of the season and we already know it has Thrawn in it.
"The Holocrons of Fate" (October 1st): Can take a pretty good guess this is about Ezra's Holocron, and possibly Kanans? (Holocron is plural in the title) and I'd bet Maul is in this episode as well.
"The Antilles Extraction" (October 8th): I'd say by the title it's fairly obvious Wedge is in this episode, likely his defection from the Empire.
"Hera's Heroes" (October 15th): I'd assume Hera's Heroes refers to the Ghost crew, all I have in mind for this one.
"The Last Battle" (October 22nd): Gonna take a guess and assume this is the episode with the battle droids from the trailer. Rex says something along the lines of "Welcome to the last battle of the grand army of the Republic" when speaking to Ezra.

But the season seems to be starting really early.... Previous seasons where mid October. If they end first week of December like usual we will already be on like episode 11 of 12. But I guess if they plan on making this a full 22 episodes that isn't too bad. Season 1 was 16 I think and season 2 was 20 counting 2 partners and stuff.

And since these titles are pretty simple and most we can take a pretty good guess, we could probably guess the rest of the first half as well. Like another episode after these ones will likely be about Sabine and the mandalorians. Not with Bo though yet. But season 3 is supposed to be heavily on Ezra and Sabine

I agree with all of your guesses, Newan. I think Hera's Heroes could be the one with Cham and Thrawn.

But then there has to be a Mandalorian episode (like you said), an episode with Hondo and Azmorigan, probably another episode with Maul where Kanan gets possessed by the green mist, and then the dark troopers and scout troopers need to fit into it as well. And that's just the first half.

I agree with all of your guesses, Newan. I think Hera's Heroes could be the one with Cham and Thrawn. Cham is going to be in this season too? Was he in the trailer? Might have forgot, but if that's the case then yeah episode 5 is probably with Cham

And that's just the first half. Yeah like holy crap this season has a lot of life to it... The days of "Fighter Flight" like episodes seems to be in the past..... Hopefully Lando is in that episode with Hondo and Azmorigan. And we know Maul is in a couple episodes in the first half I think. There was the clip on the asteroid station.

I really liked the premiere. It stood on its own well but also set up the rest of the season nicely.
Thrawn had a nice, subtle introduction. It wasn't bombastic like Vader's intro last season, but Thrawn's not a bombastic character. It definitely seems like they're playing the long game with him, and I'm sure the payoff will be great. I like how he was just recently promoted to Grand Admiral, too. Apparently the Thrawn novel coming out next March takes place before Rebels, so maybe that will be about him getting his promotion.
Bendu was great too. I really love his character so far, and it's awesome that Tom Baker's now in Star Wars. Judging by the preview for next week, it looks like the sith holocron corrupts him...? Darkside Bendu would definitely be badass.

But I liked this episode, Bendu was really cool and I like that they reused the admiral from Stealth Strike instead of a very generic officer. I think it might have been the worst premiere though but overall this season looks very strong

I think he holds the Ghost crew hostage so he and Ezra can merge the jedi and sith holocron together. But the preview made it look like Bendu didn't want to give it up. Worst premiere? What about Season 1? I'd say this was definitely better than that. Season 2 was kind of hard to top with Vader though.

Yeah tbh I kind of liked Spark of Rebellion a bit more, Kanan was really good in that episode and overall it was a good introduction IMO, a lot of shows can't do introductions too well. Season 2 is certainly the best though like you said, Vader is near impossible to beat in this era. Looking forward to Maul though and I have not seen this preview with Bendu, will look it up I guess. Maul looks like he will have an important role. But if it's true that Vader isn't in this season then I hope there's a season 4 so Maul and Vader can have a fight, or Obi-Wan can come out of hiding for a mission

Tbh I'm thinking there will be a 4th season and it will be the last season.
I always expected Rebels to be 4-5 seasons long. 4 is what I'm thinking now but when I made my original prediction I didn't know seasons would become longer. Cause season 1 was 15 episodes (with 1 two parter).

It was okay. Hondo is weird though.. And I don't like the characters' "new" designs they're so boring and plain... They might as well just be wearing solid color t shirts.. And Sabine looks like a marshmallow..... Thrawn's voice is really cool though. But I wish he had solid eyes and not sure why his hair is blue... This episode felt like just any other episode.. Nothing was really set up or anything
I just don't really like the show anymore so I hope they stop after this season...

This was released 4 days ago... a lot of random stuff we didn't see in trailers. This is probably a lot of the first 9-12 episodes.
I doubt Ezra is gonna kill Maul, actually I'm certain he won't, Maul just wants that to happen I bet, as part of his "training".... Rex also gets shot at one point....

And I read that it was actually planned for Vader to kill Maul at the end of the last season but they kept him around.
Either way I think Maul will die to Kenobi, next choice being Vader

Believe the officer next to Thrawn is Palleon, he was a key figure in the EU as well

I wonder if the green eyes/mist stuff is related to nightsisters I'm not sure what else it would be... But the darksaber is also in that episode

Wait what.... season 1 on wookieepedia says Five years before ANH, Season 3 says 2 years.
Didn't think that much time passed, maybe it's more like 2 years, 10 months or something. Closer to 3 years

Closer to 3 years The first half of Season 2 should be about 4 years, while the second half is three years. Leia was said to be 16 in the episode she appeared in, which also makes Ezra 16. So we should be about two years out now.

If it's true Vader isn't in this season then I think he will be in the nexf I think they'll end on Season 4. I think in an interview recently Freddie Prinze Jr. said they already started recording lines for next season... and Dave Filoni said he was set on finishing Rebels so it wouldn't be incomplete like TCW. But yeah, I think Season 4 will be the last and it will take place one year before A New Hope (and Rogue One).

As for who they'll kill off when the time comes... Kanan will definitely die. There's really no loop hole to him being a jedi. There used to sort of be, but he was knighted in Season 2 and he's pretty jedi-like now. I used to think they wouldn't kill Ezra, but now I think it's a possibility. Either that, or he goes into exile (or maybe becomes a Bendu?). Hera and Chopper will continue to serve the Alliance (maybe with Zeb too, but I also think he could die), and Sabine could go back to Mandalore. All just guesses of course.
