Idk if it's too early for a thread... Is there not going to be an episode in like June like there was last season? That would've been cool honestly I think they should've had better timing for stuff like movies and Rebels come during fall/winter so there's like nothing for the other half of the year...

There's no episode in June this time. The first official info we'll get (and a trailer) will probably be at Celebration Europe in July. I'm pretty sure Grand Admiral Thrawn's going to be the main villain of this season though. Rumors have said that he is going to be and Dave Filoni has been teasing it a lot.

Thrawn would be really cool and if the guy in Rouge One is the current Grand Admiral it could pass to Thrawn when he likely dies

I think that seeing the Emperor talking to Vader and seeing Thrawn being put in charge of taking down the Rebels would make sense. Then Kallus could reappear since Thrawn is essentially taking over his role from the last two seasons. I don't think Kallus will side with the Rebels yet (assuming he does, which I think he will somehow). I don't think Maul will be shown again until the midseason finale though. |

A tease towards Ezra's turn to the darkside sounds plausible too. I still think Ezra will die by the end of the series since he'll turn to the darkside, with Kanan probably being the only main rebel surviving.

Or perhaps they could do like a time jump. Show Ezra older, everyone has new animation models, someone dies offscreen, and new character(s) are introduced.. I think they've done stuff like that in a few cartoons

They make Ezra seem so powerful, so it would bother me to have him living still when the OT makes it clear Luke and Leia are the only fore users around until after ROTJ. Plus it would make Rebels fit much better with the dark era it occurs within if all the rebels (or most) died. I wouldn't mind if Kanan lived though, since he's blind and will probably die off or go into exile by TESB. |

I take it as there's only a few of them left... Is this wrong though? I feel like it's just one of those weird things like for example "all but destroyed" would mean it is everything except destroyed but that's now how it is interpreted....
Either way we've seen other Jedi in the galaxy after the purge

Hmm not really, Ventress wasn't a Sith even though she was strong in the dark side. Jedi is I guess a term that's universally used but really students and stuff are not true Jedi yet. Yoda didn't consider Luke a Jedi until he confronted Vader and defeated him. He denied him his right to call himself a Jedi. |

First clip, Ezra has new hair, looks older, actually taller then Sabine now as well. Good new model IMO. I was wondering who he looked like and he resembles Starkiller a lot

Does Sabine have some different markings? It's always hard to tell... But yeah I don't think besides Ezra's hair and his other subtle changes, anyone will have drastically different designs... Which sucks

I had a feeling he'd have a green lightsaber. I like it so far. I feel like people will start to actually like Ezra this season similar to how Ahsoka gained popularity after season 3 of TCW. Anyway, I think we're getting a trailer for this on Saturday (Rogue One is Friday). I bet we'll see Thrawn there.  |

Hmm I wonder if they will make a Lego Star Wars Rebels game, I saw on the IOS version there is a future character pack with Rebels characters in TFA game. All the other character packs where from previous Star Wars Lego games.
I'd say it's probably likely they will, they did make a Clone Wars game after all based on only 2 seasons. But tbh all the space battles and large scale battles took place in the first 2 seasons, a Lego game after for TCW may not have worked as well

Anyways, glad to see that stormtrooper's aim haven't gotten better, and the pigs way of dying was just laughable. Can't wait for what else this show can do besides the same things over and over again. It's getting old. Did I mention how atrocious Ezra looks in his haircut?

How'd they buy a larger set of clothes for him? Did they come across a tailor in ANOTHER Empire prison cell and ask him to stretch out his 12 year old outfit or did they happen to just stumble upon an XL orange and yellow jumpsuit because nobody wants one except Ezra?
