If the poll had not been locked, I would have chosen Mace. He would have beaten Sidious and in my opinion is more wise, but not necessarily more powerful. Dooku is an old man as well, Mace would have the agility advantage to perform kicks and twists that an old man like Dooku might not be able to do as well. Dooku is pretty agile too though. |

He's just a pretty agile older man. He can still run and dodge quickly though. And swing his arms fast when preforming a technique. But Mace is probably more agile in the sense that he can do kicks and some other things like that. |

Dooku is far more experienced in lightsaber combat and knows the weakness to Mace's form, in addition, he has a good knowledge of the force. |

Sidious obviously fears Ventress growing powers, a main reason why he wanted to eliminate her. Although Sidious confronted Maul, he only did that because he had more uses for Maul and Maul was a rival Sith Lord which betrays the Rule of Two.
Also, Ventress was taught by Dooky, a master of Makashi which is good in lightsaber combat, she can use two lightsabers proficiently, is a gifted assassin and effectively defeated Luminara and Ahsoka.

I think Maul might have a slight advantage because of his more advanced force powers. His metallic feet might also come in handy.

I think Ventress uses Ataru the acrobatic lightsaber form. At least in the later seasons. But Maul was trained in Juyo common aggressive sith form. Plus Maul also has the Darksaber so that takes away Ventress two saber advantage. Maul I think is a lot more battle hardened even if he missed much of the clone wars most of his training was constant fighting, torture and failure was not a option. Maul would have fully embraced the dark side after the events of episode one making him stronger. Ventress is really on the edge she can be redeemed back to the light honestly. But Maul also did very well in both his fights with Kenobi and killed Qui Gon Jinn. Where as we never seem Ventress kill ANY force users at all. |

The battle with Luminara and Ahsoka proves that Ventress can hold her own against two gifted Jedi. Whereas Maul could only defeat Qui Gon when he was on his own. |

Qui Gon was pretty close to being considered a Battlemaster though he was trained by Dooku. His was one of the best swordsman I think that's quite the imagination if you think Luminara and 14 year old Ahsoka is on Qui Gons level.

Eh, I think it'd be close but I still think Mace would end up winning. But... -Dooku is more experienced. -Is a master of lightsaber duelling. -Also quite powerful in the ways of the Force. Mace is just a master of Vaapad, is also powerful, perhaps equal to Dooku, but not as experienced. So Dooku. The thing is that Anakin ended up beating Dooku. He had his hatred on his side, yes, but Vaapad does utilize parts of the dark side. |

Surviving getting cut in half and falling down a very big hole without dying? He would go into shock at the very least and the fall would kill him. Maul survived the fall because the writers wanted another story. |
