SW Duels ~

Welcome to the Geonosis Arena (Official Star Wars character duel thread). The purpose is to pit 2 characters against each other in a duel to the death. Of course in some situations it would be impossible to decide a winner just by discussion so what we will do is have discussion for 3 days and on the 4th day will be a vote open to decide the ultimate winner. In the discussion time whatever side you choose it will be your job to defend it and convince the other side why you think your character would win.

Rules and Extras

• This is a 1 on 1 fight meaning characters that are duelling can not receive outside help of any kind (droids, Clones,etc) unless it is stated before hand in certain cases.
• The combatants can only use what weapons we know they have from canon SW sources but no ships or vehicles of any kind. In some cases there may be restrictions on weapons or only a set amount of weapons will be aloud in the current duel.
• In the discussion let us try to use sources for the Movies and TCW first but that's not too say that you can't use a EU source but it must be canon most of the 2003 TCW isn't canon anymore. In some cases there may be a character from the EU than it's okay.
• Again most battles will be 1vs1 but in some cases we could have a free for all scenario or small team based battles.
• The battle ground will always be the Geonosis arena since it's a neutral environment and gives no distinct advantages too anyone if the battle location is taking place somewhere else it will be stated in the 2nd post where all the battle briefings will take place.
• The winners of each battle will be recorded in the 3rd post and at the end of the season (perhaps 8 battles which is 4-5weeks) we will pit all the winners into a free for all to decide a grand champion for that season.
• The same character will never appear twice in the same season but that's not to say they can't come back in a later season against a different opponent . Recycling characters may eventually need to happen depending on how successful this is.
• Please check the 2nd post of this thread every at the start of every week to find out who won the last one and who the next Combatants are.
• Voting will always be on the 6th day and voting will be kept private on voting day. You get a full 24 hours too vote and on the 7th day the vote will be made public so everyone can see it.

• Battles will not always be force users. There will be non force user battles and even Force users vs non force users./li]
  

And remember everyone is entitled too his or her own opinions. Sometimes discussions can get a bit heated so I would like everyone too remind someone if things start getting out of hand too just calm down. You are not forced to take a side if everyone chooses one character right from the start then I guess it will be a slow week though even if you stay neutral for most of the debates it is encouraged you vote on day 6.

Also once a battle is over and decided and the next one starts you may no longer continue discussing that duel in this thread you must move to the next battle I will make a separate thread to discuss pass battles if it's necessary later.
