It was alright, the finales are usually good but it was just a battle... I was expecting someone to die though I felt like they were foreshadowing it.. Besides Sato I mean
I'm surprised there was somewhat of a ground battle. I was really hoping for one because it's always just space battles. I wish it was longer though with actual Stormtrooper vs rebel combat... They really should've shown more of the Rebels building their army instead of their navy... The AT-AT shooting the rebel ship was just like Battlefront Walker Assault though lol. But it's so annoying when Kanan can just cut through a walker's leg with his lightsaber

But yeah obviously the weakest finale. Would've been better if a main person died. At least Kallus is on their side now hopefully he has a big role next season. I think he's the best character I wish they had spent more time on him and shown him losing faith in the Empire.
And where the fuck are Wolffe and Gregor

Pretty good finale. Sato's death was badass, and I'm glad Konstantine went out like a moron. As for Thrawn... I think he was portrayed pretty well this episode, but I'm kind of concerned about him being in the next season again. Overall, I'd say his appearance on Season 3 was decent. But if he's back for Season 4, we know that he can't find the Yavin base... so he's bound to fail. I'd rather him get sent off to the Unknown Regions.

It was pretty good, better then season 1 finale but of course not better then season 2.
I like that the Rebels took significant losses this time and Thrawn was portrayed fairly well. Actually the battle in a lot of ways resembles the battle in which he died at in the EU, Bendu's little foresight also hints to his EU death. I think Thrawn is likely going to the Unknown Regions now, I doubt he will return for season 4.
Since season 4 will almost certainly be the last, I imagine Vader will come back as the head villain to finish off the Jedi. Maybe with Tarkin as well since in Rouge One he seemed to be the main imperial against the Rebels. It would be cool if Krennic made a cameo though.
And yeah that one transport got Battlefront AT-AT'd lol.
As for Bendus little thing, well I guess I can understand it because Bendu was originally meant to be in TCW as a Mortis arc followup, and what he was doing was pretty Mortis like.

It's kind of interesting how Thrawn is this brilliant strategist and whatnot but when faced with something like Bendu he couldn't really control the situation and I feel like he was almost fearful... If Thrawn ever had to lead a battle against a larger force of Jedi, I don't think he would do very well.

I think he would do fine vs Jedi... but Bendu is something he doesn't understand which is what he is afraid of. He does a lot of research which is what makes him effective. He still defeated Bendu though rather then just running away he knew where to shoot, I don't think most Imperials would have caught that

Anyways after season 3 my new characters rankings would probably be.
Kanan Sabine Kallus Ezra Zeb Chopper Hera
For the main Rebels characters, Sabine made a lot of progress this season and Kallus both in that one episode last season and a few this one came a long way in his development.
Hera just doesn't change IMO, she always stays the same even when they try. And her voice actress is getting a bit on my nerves now IMO with her whole mother like feel.. Ezra and Sabine for voices was bad at the start but they have improved.
Arguably Zeb may have the best voice for consistency Steve Blum just does a really good job in all roles.

Yeah I agree, Kanan's still my favorite. Although I do wish they spent more time on showing him struggle with the blindness...
Kallus is one of my favorites too, I'm just worried he'll be watered down now that he's a part of the rebels.

I don't really like Kanan anymore idk why... So Kallus but I'm sure they will ruin him next season now that he's a rebel..... I actually find chopper a little amusing lol.. Sabine is whatever. Ezra was growing on me but I don't like him anymore... Too much cringe. Zeb is kinda just there. I don't like Hera anymore either idk she reminds me of one of my school counselors that I fucking hate........

Kallus is one of my favorites too, I'm just worried he'll be watered down now that he's a part of the rebels. Yeah his actions haven't really changed pretty much the same as before the blindness. He can even fly ships...... I liked what they did with Kota in TFU and his blindness should've had something like that. I feel like shooting at the storm shouldn't have worked but whatever... One of my favorite shots of the episode is the random Death Trooper aimlessly shooting at the sky. I'm glad they put in the Death Troopers. I'd love to see Krennic next season.

It's sad that Kanans role was limited this season, he was kinda distanced. I can understand overcoming his blindness easily, Kota was able to fast in TFU and there's other instances in the EU.
But there was no enemy force user threat this season, I am somewhat shocked they didn't use Inquisitors at all just as like a background kinda thing, didn't have to develop them or anything just have them there maybe.
And many of the filler episodes Kanan just wasn't involved for some reason unexplained. He had a good role in Sabines training though

Yeah we should get Krennic cameo next season, would make sense with the Geonosis arc too, finishing the Death Star .

So since season 4 will likely be the end I wonder what would be addressed....
I imagine Kalani/ Droids follow up filler Lando probably, I'd love to see Cloud City Hopefully Krennic I'd really want to see Boba Fett/ Jabba just once... but I think a possible spinoff could be blocking this Bo-Katan likely in the Sabine/ Mandalorian followup Maybe Cassian/ K2 now that they're going to Yavin X-Wings Something Mon Cala related, maybe fhe admiral from Rouge One, and the voice actor does work on Rebels anyways as Tarkin and Kenobi
The main plot would probably be the Rebels united trying to do larger attacks but the Rouge One incident is considered the first real victory judging from ANH crawl.

I agree about seeing Krennic, plus I'm sure Ben Mendelson would love to do it. Maybe it could have the Ghost crew and Saw get close to discovering the Death Star, so that's why Krennic comes in. And it could show Saw losing his leg and hand (Death Trooper grenade or something?). IDK, they probably wouldn't show that on the show, but he's got to get injured sometime soon.

Wow, a lot of posts! Great finale! Bendu and Thrawn are great! I wonder what will happen to Thrawn? And the Bendu was Badass, I liked that he was mad at everyone instead of saving Kanan and Rebels cliche. I hope we see more of Kallus nenkt season now that he's full on rebel One thing though, no Ahsoka mention. I guess that writer whoever said what happened to Ahsoka would be addressed this season but it obviously didn't. And Maul was the force sensitive antagonist this season, Newan, but in your defense the writers only put him in three fucking episodes and was so yeah people would forget. kind of a fail IMO.
