One thing bugged me though... Kanan's critique of Sabine's movements (specifically when she's dueling with Ezra). I get that Kanan can see through the force, but he reacted to a lot of small details in this episode in a way that only someone with eyes could. The way he analyzed Sabine's technique didn't make it seem like he was blind. One problem with Kanan this season is that his blindness never really handicapped him after the first episode.

This episode was actually one of the best in the show, probably by far one of the best for character development, not just in Rebels but also in TCW/ Movies as well if you want to put it up to comparison. Sabine and Kanan where definitely very focused on and it made me like both of them a lot more. Sabine I kinda started to dislike a bit at some point in the show but that has changed after tonight. So odd because there was no villain or enemy plot at all, yet they managed to create this very powerful episode. Though I am not sure what that little Bendu thing was supposed to be, I mean I knew Sabine was leaning on him and he pops up briefly... kind of weird Yeah, I can't tell if the Bendu cameo was supposed to be a funny moment or a hint at something involving Sabine. I think it was just the showrunners letting us know he still exists. Chex suggested that Bendu and Sabine might have had some off screen conversation, which is also why she took so long coming back to camp. Possible, it would make his appearance have some purpose. Maybe we will know in the next episode, which isn't for 30 days.... I just hope this episode really sets the tone for the rest of the season, I definitely think from the trailer it's possible. "Warhead" can just be that one filler episode in a hopefully otherwise flawless stand since the mid season finale with Maul

And I don't think it really should IMO. Have you ever heard of the Miraluka? They're a force sensitive species that are basically humans in every sense except they're born blind, they see through the force with no issue whatsoever. Kanan shouldn't need the force to see at this point I'd imagine.

So we got 6 episodes left in the season, we already got names a descriptions for 2 of them, figured I'd just try and predict the rest based off trailer footage.
16. Legacy of Mandalore (February 18th): "Hoping to get her family to help the rebels, Sabine returns home with Kanan and Ezra, and finds herself embroiled in her family's power struggle for Mandalore." - Continuation of last episode, all of the Mandalorian specific trailer stuff will be here.
17. Through Imperial Eyes (February 25th): "Fearing that the identity of a rebel spy will soon be discovered by the Empire, the Rebels launch a plan to rescue him before he is caught." - This has to be Kallus, it's been hinted that Thrawn is closing in on him. Trailer has part with Thrawn and death troopers talking about Fulcrum.
18. (March 4th): Part where Mon Mothma talks to Bail is probably this episode, likely we will finally see all the cells come together in a unified alliance. Preparing for the large fight in the trailer.
19/20 (March 11th) or (March 18th): I'm thinking this could be a two parter as well, the stuff with the giant battle and the Rebels evacuating their base.
21/22: (March 25th) Almost certainly a two part finale, I'm betting it will be the end trailer footage with Maul and Obi-Wan. The start of the trailer where Ezra is looking for Kanan and Obi-Wans message is playing is probably the beginning on the finale.

"Looks like it’ll be an uninterrupted run to the end of the season when it starts back up:
March 4th – Secret Cargo: When a routine refueling mission goes wrong, the Ghost crew find themselves transporting an important rebel leader across the galaxy, pursued by Imperial warships.
March 11th – Double Agent Droid: Chopper and AP-5 team up to infiltrate an Imperial station to steal needed codes, but an Imperial specialist turns the droids against the crew to cause chaos.
March 18th – Twin Sons: Reacting to a vision of Maul, Ezra defies Hera and Kanan to travel to a remote planet in hopes of stopping the former Sith lord from carrying out his plans.
March 25th – Zero Hour Parts One and Two: In final preparations for their attack on Lothal, Phoenix Squadron’s plans are disrupted when Grand Admiral Thrawn discovers their location. Trapped on Atollon with the rebel base under siege, Hera and Kanan fight to keep the squadron alive, as Ezra attempts to rally help from an unexpected source."

Looks like the official stuff is posted now, Obi-Wan episode is only a 1 parter

I'm kind of surprised the Obi-Wan episode isn't tied to the Atollon invasion in some way. Hopefully this doesn't mean the finale will feel lame after the Obi-Wan vs. Maul match.

Also, the shot with Thrawn and the Death Troopers from the trailer looks like they're on Atollon at night. Maybe this is the beginning of the finale and they're scouting it out?

Remember that poster image thing with Season 3 and it had Maul Ezra Sabine and Thrawn on it? It made it seem like Maul was a big threat and we would have several episodes about him and we only have 3 total for the season. Yeah he's such a major villain, that's why you only gave him most likely 1 episode in the second half.. fail Rebels.

Yeah he's such a major villain, that's why you only gave him most likely 1 episode in the second half.. fail Rebels. I think I'd rather have it this way than have an overdose of him. Plus, the few episodes he's been in have been the best of the season. And look at it this way for perspective: Maul was only in six episodes of TCW. And look at the impact he made there.

I'd be surprised if Season 3 is the last season tbh, it doesn't look like it will wrap up yet. And there's a lot of open ended smaller storylines that could be continued.
I think Season 4 will be the final season, some rumors about it already being in production as well for awhile now

And I think Bo-Katan might not be appearing until then anyway.

Another great episode. I'm kind of bummed that Gar Saxon died. I was hoping they'd do a bit more with him. LOL "Just because you have the darksaber doesn't mean you know how to use it. If you're not careful you could lose your head." Pre Vizsla certainly knows about that.

I liked how Sabine stayed behind too. I mean, I'm sure she'll be back for the finale and have a big entrance with the rest of her clan to fight Thrawn, but for now it's good to see some long lasting changes happen. Also... "I'm not Mandalore's leader, but I'll find whoever is." Yeah, Bo-Katan is definitely going to be the new leader of Mandalore in Season 4.

I like how they mentioned Maul, I guess he was the last traditional leader chosen in single combat. If he where to be challenged and defeated it would be respected.
"I'm not Mandalores leader but I will find someone who is". Definitely Bo-Katan, she will probably appear next season then as the leader.
Also in the two part finale description when Thrawn attacks the Rebel base it says " Ezra seeks help from an unlikely ally". So that's probably referring to the Mandalorians, Bo could possibly appear then too. Only other thing it might be referring too is Bendu since he's on the planet.
Overall good episode, next episode is the one with Kallus I think judging by the description of the Rebels trying to rescue and Imperial defector and there was lots of stuff in the mid season trailer with Thrawn talking about a traitor

The location was pretty cool reminded me of the Austrian alps scenes from Spectre
Also I'm glad they let Sabine keep the gauntlets. I thought they would be one offs from that other episode. Looks like she has her complete gear now

I wish there was more Imperial stuff in this season... It doesn't feel like they've focused on the civil war very much... TCW had many stories not really related to the war effort but at least they were good...

TCW had many stories not really related to the war effort but at least they were good... They didn't really focus on the war in season 3 of TCW much either. Nightsisters and Mortis where both side stories, so was the finale. Really it was just the Citadel and the one Kamino episode (not the training one).

I wonder if Kallus will live through this season... or this episode

I think this episode is gonna follow Kallus and Thrawn and the Rebels will be more on the side.
There was some cool trailer stuff with Thrawn training, that might be in this

Yularen Potato is Awesome yeah time to make up for all the Potato Rulesty content....... I'd love for this episode not to have any Rebels in it but that won't happen.. The Rebels should be at the start and end I think, judging by the description. I think Kallus contacts them to help him escape. So they likely will show up at the end

That was one of the best episodes of the season. I actually liked it more than Trials of the Darksaber. We finally get a (mostly) Imperial centric episode, and the Imperials were finally done justice. Yularen was great to see, and I like how they didn't make him a typical Imperial bad guy. He just seems like a normal guy doing his job and that job just happens to be working for the Empire. Kallus was cool as well, especially because he hasn't really done a whole lot this season. I felt bad for Lyste during the episode, but I think the episode would have been more impactful if Lyste was shot and killed at the end instead of just being arrested (what happens to him now, anyway? Thrawn knows he's not the traitor, so will he let him go free?).

It was a good episode, I liked the imperial focus a lot. Reminded me a bit of Stealth Strike which happended to be one of my favorites from last season.
Surprised Kallus wasn't caught this episode but it's smart to try and use him now, they will be able to find the base because of it. I liked Thrawns office, he had a lot of cool background stuff
Well now we just got 2 semi filler episodes I think then Maul and then the finale.

Yeah finally good episode. I really liked Yularen I hope we see him again but I doubt we will... I wish there was some closure to Kallus though either him escaping or him being killed or something... Because now they won't do anything with him until season 4 which looks like there will be one (unfortunately........)
