And no female was allowed to command a cruiser like that again after her spectacular failure... I don't think two torpedos would've done that much damage to a ship like that but whatever.. Proton Torpedos? Indeed they would, they're extremely powerful and that was a little tiny assault craft, nothing more. Tbh I'm surprised it didn't blow the entire ship up.

Actually, I found myself more drawn towards the line "Stupid sand, get everywhere..." About time they poked fun at that Otherwise, I liked the rest. Saw's clearly showing some signs that he will eventually crack and I like how the Geonosians get some hope (although, was it me, or did Click Clack seem a bit off model for a Geonosian...). Good stuff, really great mood attached to it. As for the circle within a circle thing, I'm assuming the ending was a case of severe mistranslation. It was supposed to be the Death Star, but the Imperial symbol fit the bill first. It's kinda stupid of the Rebellion to not have anyone with Geonosian lingual ability on either teams when you think about it It was a wingless Geonosian, they exist No, no, I mean his very design, particularly the head. Something didn't look quite right about it. Maybe it's the features, since they seem a lot bigger than usual. I guess it was less the change in art style that caused it and more an attempt to make... cuter, to make it more sympathetic... I think?

Thank god, they finally have an animated Imperial non-officer that doesn't have that stupid hat cover their entire face. That character model has always really bugged me...

The episodes were pretty good. I'm not sure if I totally buy seeing Saw go from how he was here to how he was in Rogue One in just two years, but I guess the Geonosian insecticide he supposedly inhaled makes him age rapidly. The Ghost's escape from underground wasn't really believable either. But overall I really enjoyed it and it was cool seeing that at least one Geonosian survived.

Been watching some TCW eps bruh it's not that hard to do this shit.... TCW could tell unique and interesting stories in 22 min but all Rebels can do is start every episode with the Ghost in space and have them steal fuel or whatever the hell

starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Rebels_Season_ThreeReally... there's two more episodes until the 21st and then the show is going on a break until the 18th of February... That's so stupid, I knew this from the start when this season began way earlier then normal... reminds me of Season 2 of TCW I think that had these kinds of gaps

I don't understand why they couldn't have just made the winter break last three more weeks and then have the back half of the season air consecutively.

Wait does Rex know what happened to Anakin As of Season 2 he definitely didn't. I think he just assumed Anakin died. But Ezra should know after hearing Vader and Ahsoka's conversation, so you'd think he would have told Rex at this point. Or maybe he just didn't want to tell Rex and that he was better off not knowing.

His 501st legion should know all about Anakin/ Vader

And then they act like Vader identity being secret is important... but it Vader didn't get injured he would have just been walking around normally anyways?

And then they act like Vader identity being secret is important... but it Vader didn't get injured he would have just been walking around normally anyways? I think it's kinda neat no one knows Vader was a Jedi. Adds to the mystery and stuff I know in those old Ferus Olin books no one knew and it was cool

In The Lost Commanders Rex says what you just said, but in the Ahsoka novel he fakes his death and escapes Mandalore alone. According to Pablo Hidalgo Rex never served the Empire... but I don't buy that because it directly contradicts what he says in Rebels...

Rebels is the top canon though, Rebels and TCW is right after the movies and ahead of books, so it's probably best to go with Rebels. It contradicts what he said in numerous episodes

The new episode was all right, I guess the imperial droid was an earlier K2 model from Rouge One? But I'm pretty sure the Empire has probes by now, would be more efficient to use those.
It was definitely filler but not terrible filler, I kinda enjoyed the banter with Zeb

Cool how the opening was a callback to TESB's opening. But other than that it was really boring..... I wish they showed some other people on the base it felt like it was abandoned except for Zeb and the droids... Also is it all just open? Kinda weird what if it rains lol... I enjoyed the Imperial scenes the most I want an episode focused only on the Empire
I hope Thrawn nukes the Potato Rules out of their base just so something will happen...

I imagine there's going to be another Maul episode right?
Rebels is always in chronological order, no flopping like TCW. Why would Maul be waiting so long? He must be doing something

Warhead: Not bad like I was expecting. Sort of fillery, but it still played into the larger story with Kallus as Fulcrum and Thrawn narrowing down the rebel base location.
Trials of the Darksaber: Definitely one of the best of the season, and one of the best episodes for character development in the entire series. This episode felt like something from a completely different show. Even though there was no physical villain or Imperial presence, it was still an impactful episode. The history of the darksaber is great and it's always been one of my favorite Star Wars weapons. And most importantly, I can say that I now like Sabine after this episode. This was the first time she was really properly developed.

This episode was actually one of the best in the show, probably by far one of the best for character development, not just in Rebels but also in TCW/ Movies as well if you want to put it up to comparison.
Sabine and Kanan where definitely very focused on and it made me like both of them a lot more. Sabine I kinda started to dislike a bit at some point in the show but that has changed after tonight.
So odd because there was no villain or enemy plot at all, yet they managed to create this very powerful episode.
Though I am not sure what that little Bendu thing was supposed to be, I mean I knew Sabine was leaning on him and he pops up briefly... kind of weird

I think it was just the showrunners letting us know he still exists.
