Ike sat a ways away from the other adventurers, unsure of what to think of them. Knowing that he should try to judge them more by their actions and words than by their appearance, he sheathed his sword and slowly walked toward them hoping to learn more of their personalities. "Hello my name is Ike," he said, "and whom might all of you be?" [ OOC: omg totally didnt see this omg sorry bruh ] The mermaid's gaze turned to the new arrival, and she, as she had with all the others, looked him up and down as if he was a meal. "I am Amara. Pleasure to meet you, Ike." She gave him a smile, that seemed friendly but not particularly warm. Wasn't her fault however. It was just how she was.

Ellis sat to drink more as he kept looking over the group. Many, he though, would be good leaders. He walked over to speak to Korbulence. He seemed to be experienced in this line of work.

"Ghorak bored, Group wastes time talking" . Ghorak was eager to finally get moving into the forest, he was not one for socializing he was used to being in the action.

"Hello my name is Ike," he said, "and whom might all of you be?" Ike seemed like an honorable man, thought Ellus. But he still don't know if Ike had been around enough to lead this party. Ellis walked up to Ike and bowed. "Ellis Cimber at you service," he said. Ike was shocked by the dwarf's bow for our of all the Dwarfs he had encountered none had ever been as kind. Bowing his head back in respect, Ike sat up from his slouching position and spoke back to the dwarf saying, "Please to meet you Ellus, I am Ike Delaron," gesturing towards the seet across from him Ike said, "please, have a seat."

OOC: It's completely fine, I just wanted to move on instead of waiting. IC: Tugging on the tip of his hood to show respect towards the mermaid Ike replied, "Pleasure to meet you as well." Ike had never seen a mermaid before, and was shocked to discover that they looked more human than the majority of other humanoid species. Growing up with stories of encounters with mermaids from the other knights of his village, Ike knew to try to stay on Amara's good side. "So what brought you on to accept this quest?"

Realizing that time was almost over to vote for the group's leader, Ike stood and walked over to the mysterious leader who had brought up this quest. "I vote Korbulence Chordata," he said, "I feel as though he has experience in quests like these."
VOTE: Korbulence Chordata (Legolas)

Following the leads of the others, Ellus knew who to vote. "I vote for Ser Chordata, for he seems the most experienced and fit to lead us."
VOTE: KORBULANCE
Ellus noticed a scary individual laying down on the ground. He had pale, white skin and pointy ears. Why was this man sleeping?

Korbulance Chordata - 3 votes Ellus Cimber - 1 vote Korbulance is now the leader, the only other possible outcome was a tied vote and that would have been pointless. So Legolas will now lead this quest. I'll have the first real challenge up later.

"Well thiss was unexpected..."spoke Korbulence as he twirled his dark dagger from hand to hand, "I will gladly take up this mantle and do my bessst to lead uss to victory."

"May I ask what your weapon of choice isss? I prefer two weaponssss, my trusty dagger and my stealth abilitiess." She reached over and patted the bow that rested against the chair she was reclining in. It was of dark wood, and adorned a bit practically with red lines, that matched her crimson attire. Next to the bow was a quiver full of arrows that had red feathers on the ends. Red seemed to be the color of Amara. And of blood. Rather fitting, since she was a carnivous mermaid who killed for both food and for a living. "I also occasionally use a dagger, but I think I would be enough of a force to be recokoned with, even weaponless." It was the truth, since yet again she was a carnivious mermaid. Her kind sung and seduced sailors and pirates at sea, only to pull them into the water, drown them, and consume them in the depths. Not only was her voice a weapon, but she had the typical pointed and extending insisors of her kind. Korbulence studied the bow with amazement in his eyes. "She truly iss a beauty. Did you craft such a weapon or did you happen upon it on your journeyss, for that looksss like no ordinary bow." Korbulence took a long sip of ale and slammed the large wooden keg on the table. "As for your abilitiesss in archery, I'm sssure they will serve thisss group well."

"Greetingsss, what bringsss a dwarf like you upon such a quessst of this nature?" Ellis turned to the one called Korbulance. "I want to become an adventurer," said Ellus plainly. "I've always lived a life where everything was brought to me. My family had power, yes. But I never really was able to make my own decisions. I was a Cimber. Climbers are meant to boss people around, live fat lives, and pass the legacy to out younger. It is meant to be a privilege, but I took it as a burden. I had no choice. So I left for this."

The first post has been updated. The leader has to send in your decision within 24 hours. The leader should listen to the group, but eventually he should send in the decision.
To send the decision the leader has to post: CHOICE: PATH number. This decision will affect how the quest will progress and what your next challenge will be.
New text in first post: "Eventually the group chose the Argonian, Korbulence Chordata as their leader. Korbulence decided that it was time to travel to the Shadow Woods. For two days the group traveled towards the west until finally reaching their destination. Only there was a slight problem, there were three ways into the woods and the group wasn't sure which one to take.
The first path went straight to the center of the forest, it seemed pretty easy to walk through as far as the adventurers could see. The second path was dark and it was hard to tell which way it went. At the end of the third path was a chest, could it be the treasure? Or another object of interest to the group? The only way to find out what is in it was by taking this road. But there was a sign place next to it saying: "Whatever you do, don't take this path."
Which path should the adventurers take?"

"Ghorak not scared of dark, Ghorak won't be fooled for false chest. Ghorak suggest dark path" . He thought it was the best choice a chest was there to throw them off and the middle was too obvious to be that simple.

Korbulence slowly paced back and forth contemplating what each path might have in store for his group. "Hmmm, this foressst is flowing with some kind of powerful magic. It might be trying to throw usss off courssse. The easy path concernsss me, I don't know about you guyss, but it just seemsss too simple like it's layed out to lure uss in. The path with the chest is interesting. The sign warning us to stay out is especially intriguing. Maybe someone is trying to keep usss out because of a valuable item that is stashed away in that chessst. Or as the orc has stated it could just be a ploy that could possibly lead to this quest going downhill. The dark path may be the way to go, sure it could be a challenge and many obstaclesss could lay ahead, but we all signed up for this quest becaussse we are all adventurersss. It seems we are all ready to face whatever comes at ussss. So we must choosse what challenge it may be."

"At last, my first real quest shall begin," thought Ike. Although Ike had been a scribe for many of the knights from his village, he was never truly allowed to help on any of their quest, unless if they needed an item attached or unattached from their horse. "I say we take the dark path, after all we have each-others' backs."

Ellus's mind madly raced with thoughts as he debated which path to take. The path with the treasure was the most interesting. For sure, some extraordinary item could be right there! And they would have the honor of finding such a prize! But that sign however revealed one thing for sure. There had been others. Someone had been here before to leave that sign. And whatever treasure surely would have been taken by that person? Ellus was worried. That sign was put up for a reason. Common sense said to listen. But could it just be a ruse? And the center path, surely it was the most traveled by. The most people probably died along following it. The dark path intrigued Ellus. Of the three, it most likely had been traveled the least. Perhaps the secret lay thst way. And it was just waiting for these brave adventurers of Ambodia.
