I feel like match ps like this can be very hard to work. Because of the era differences. Vader was only in the old movies and if you notice the fight were very toned down in them due to like budget reasons and the fights were crazy in the TOR and clone wars era because they had budget. If they made the original movies now I am sure the fights with vader would be more crazy. Also did people forget that Vader did destroy the jedi order. He attacked the temple and probably did crazy Potato Rules fights like malgus did in the temple fights. Vader took down many great jedi in the order. He became more powerful then even master yoda. The suit did weaken him but he still hunted down jedi. A new hope started like 16 years after the Revenge of sith so vader got really old by then. Don't forget that malgus has that weird ass breathing thing on him too. Also malgus doesn't have that powerful force lightning, he shocked his lightning at that officer guy at close range and it didn't do Potato Rules. Ya vader didn't have suit on during the temple attack but he did hunt down all the other jedi after the events. Also vader didn't die afer he got chopped legs and arm and got burt. Malgus got all screwed up after getting thrown into a tree. |

And these are 2 pretty well known characters unless you're the average joe that knows nothing about Star Wars.... Plus this was the closest match to date with the best discussion  |

Jango VS Bane seems more fair than Boba VS Bane. Let's compare them:
Cad Bane
Strengths and advantages:
1. Cunning and smart. He uses this in combat occasionally.
2. Does war normal clothes instead of heavy armor, allowing him to move faster and easier.
3. Has breathing tubes that allow him to breath in extreme situations
4. Uses rocket boots, which are far harder to damage/destroy than Jetpacks because they're smaller and at a lower position.
5. Has lots of useful gadgets.
Weaknesses and disadvantages:
1. Isn't exactly physically strong.
2. Slightly less protected because he isn't wearing armor. But armor doesn't work too well in Star Wars enemy.
Jango Fett
Strengths and advantages:
1. His armor gives him slightly better protection (still armor isn't that effective in Star Wars).
2. He's physically stronger than Bane, probably.
3. Is also good at space combat.
Weaknesses and disadvantages:
1. Armor slows him down and limits his movement.
2. Has a jetpack, which is extremely easy to hit. Just compare the times Jetpacks malfunctioned to the times Rocket boots did.
3. Not at smart or cunning as Bane.
So I'd say: Bane wins. He's smarter so he'd use a better strategy and he's faster which is a huge advantage in a gunfight.

And many of Bane's weapons wouldn't have very much effect on it. (Chemical gasses, most knives). But eventually Bane would find a way around it probably shooting a blaster bolt at that highly explosive jet pack....
