Didn't she run disappear in that spirit forest? Hmm... I just got the idea that she could have changed her face with the aid of the face changing spirit in that forest... maybe that was her intention. She changed near the end, perhaps she decided to start a new life with a new face... Either way, they may keep Azula's story for the comics only. She fled somewhere. I forget it's been awhile since I read the comics. I kind of want to reread them though. I haven't read the ones that show Toph meeting her father. I watched the last of the rift comics 2 days ago.

My only complaint with this is that there's not enough Lin or Tenzin.. They will probably be more important later on.

The little preview was sweet to see Naga and Korra reunite.
But one thing I didn't understand was how Opal knew her brother and her father were captured as well? I guess she just assumed but I was just a little confused since I'm sure she didn't go back to Zaofu to watch what happens. I'm sure Lin will be in this too, and she might want some revenge for her sister... maybe she'll find her mother too since Korra hasn't spoken about her recent encounter yet.

So I know that Kuvira and her army are the main antagonists for this book. But I think it's safe to say that the actual conflict is not with Kuvira but with her self. "Nega Korra" The being that she is so scared of is what I think this book is about. She doesn't know the difference between what's right for herself or whats right for everyone else, and due to all her villains analogies and ideologies she has to struggle with pleasing everyone else and now has to deal with her inner self. I think this is the actual major plot that will tie in all the books together and finally on the last episode "Avatar Korra" She finally knows that her inner self is the problem and that sometimes it is better to focus on yourself than to help all of the others. And then the world won't need the Avatar anymore, and there will finally be balance. Between the nations, between Korra and herself, and between spirits and humans.

I was a bit annoyed with how the episode started, but it turned out to be a really great episode. I don't know why IGN gave this 7.9 :/ And the latest episode of Rebels a 7.8 (Which Kenobi and Newan both said were the worst). This was the lowest score for any episodes, besides Spirit of Competition (7.9). There so critical with all these LOK episodes. Just enjoy them. I rather get fillers and character development than an episode that has no purpose or meaning. But next weeks... ... Toph

It better happen. They can't just tease us with this kind of suspense. The preview for the next episode was eh, just another Wu storyline. PLEASE BE TOPH VS KUVIRA NEXT EPISODE! I don't care for Wu

I don't care for Wu I really though/hoped they would kill off Wu in the coronation episode... but now we're still stuck with him and I think they may delay Kuvira VS Toph until the 9th episode.

I really nope not.... The next episode is called "Remembrance" I really like the title. I just hope it's not about Mako remembering his times with Korra.... Maybe it'll have to do about Toph remembering her family, the spirituality of the tree, that holds the memories of Aang, the spirits, and Toph. I just hope this episode is really significant because I really like the title.

I'm almost finished with Book 2 of ATLA. It's starting to become really good. Compared to Book 1 where I remembered at least half of those episodes, I remember seeing almost none in Book 2. And I don't recall watching anything from Book 3, so most, if not all, of it should be new to me. I'm really liking the story line of Zuko though. Iroh and he are awesome.

I really liked how in Book 2 so far they've been teasing more about Zuko's past. Azula is a neat and pretty powerful villain. I like that they have a female in the show like that besides Katara (and now Toph - also an interesting character). Not a single character in the show is "bad" for me. Even Jet, someone I disliked during his one appearance in Book 1, has grown on me after seeing him for a few episodes in Book 2 now. Plus some of the humor is pretty good, despite being aimed for kids 6-12 mostly. Heck, I've laughed quite a few times watching it.

And there will be more female characters that get some development in book 3.

You will soon see the reality of Azula in near the end of Book 3 specifically (The finale, and The Beach). And Zuko is the most interesting though. I loved his storyline especially when him and Iroh and Team Avatar faced Azula together. And Toph <3 she's the bomb.com.

Also, from the episode of "Tales of Ba Sing Se", Iroh's story was sad. They dedicated it in honor of his voice actor who died as well.

But of course that all changes when the best villain arrives in town

Another similarity between Hitler and Kuvira:
Kuvira's sympathizers in republic city all have the same haircut as the Hitler Jugend.

I would say Kuvira is slightly nicer and lenient. But still, the "school centers" that she sends people to are basically concentration camps. I wish Bolin was sent to one so we could see the harsh cruelty behind Kuvira and get a taste of "Avatar Concentration Camps"

The camps they were bringing those water tribe and fire nation prisoners to was a concentration camp. Obviously meant to wipe out "Untermenschen" or "inferior races" in those camps.

They said they were captured by Kuvira simply for having water tribe or fire nation blood... so it's basically like what Hitler did, discriminating all non-German people and putting certain "inferior races" in concentration camps.
