5 or 6? Wow, so I guess children that age watch more mature cartoons than I thought I was into alot of shows that weren't suitable for my age group . I used to watch Days of Our Lives (Soap Opera) with my mom alot Can't say exactly the same for myself, but I do remember watching Star Trek when I was a toddler

Avatar's target audience was 6-12 year olds... so if CBK was 5/6 years old he was pretty much their target audience.

Official LOK "Korrasami" Art <3 "We approached the network and while they were supportive there was a limit to how far we could go with it, as just about every article I read accurately deduced. It was originally written in the script over a year ago that Korra and Asami held hands as they walked into the spirit portal. We went back and forth on it in the storyboards, but later in the retake process I staged a revision where they turned towards each other, clasping both hands in a reverential manner, in a direct reference to Varrick and Zhu Li’s nuptial pose from a few minutes prior. We asked Jeremy Zuckerman to make the music tender and romantic, and he fulfilled the assignment with a sublime score. I think the entire last two-minute sequence with Korra and Asami turned out beautiful, and again, it is a resolution of which I am very proud. I love how their relationship arc took its time, through kindness and caring. If it seems out of the blue to you, I think a second viewing of the last two seasons would show that perhaps you were looking at it only through a hetero lens."

I have been wanting to watch this show for years and finally got around in doing so. I watched the whole thing in like a week because i couldn't stop watching. Definitely up there with ATLA.

I still need to watch all of it. Got to watching a chunk of season 1, but kinda forgot to do the rest I told myself: "Why not just start with the first few episodes of Season 1." Then i ended up watching the whole season in one night. It was a blast!

I started watching this because of renewed popularity from ATLA. I'm halfway through Book 1, and I can already tell this will be a great show.

I started watching this because of renewed popularity from ATLA. I'm halfway through Book 1, and I can already tell this will be a great show. I am assuming you finished? What did you think of the whole show? Yes, and I loved it. I probably binged it within a week. The way the series developed Korra was amazing, especially near the end of Book 3 and all of Book 4. The episode "Korra Alone" was especially great. Another thing I loved was that the antagonists weren't truly evil, and actually held very convincing views in some cases. Each book felt distinct, but they also tied together very nicely. From what I see online, this show gets a lot of undeserved hate. I can't say it's better than ATLA (mainly because it's been years since I last watched it), but I think Korra serves as a natural progression within the Avatar universe and should receive more praise. They're fairly different shows despite sharing a lot of similar elements, and I really like that.
