Since TCW is gone this is currently my favorite series that's still running, and also the only series I watch that's still running... And because season 2 is about to air I thought I'd just make a topic about it. I'm sure I'm not the only one that watched this series, or the previous series (The Last Airbender).
So, here's a trailer for the second season.
The villains for this season will be dark spirits, I doubt they'll be able to rival Amon's (season 1 villain) awesomeness because that's pretty much impossible. And I don't like spirits all that much anyway. But the second episode will feature a flashback to the first avatar, which should be interesting, and it will air in about 3 hours with a two episode season premiere.

I never knew of this thread!!!! Omg this is the best childhood mature cartoon series. I'm an addict to this stuff. It's my favorite series after TCW and Legend of Aang. I used to watch it when I was younger and I really liked it back then. This series is a bit more mature though. And the second season doesn't feel like Avatar that much  |

This is one of the best made music pieces of the entire franchise Gives me chills everytime I've heard that one before. There are many good soundtracks from Korra though. |

That too, I mean I loved how they killed Amon with suicide. But if they kept him alive that could've made the season far more interesting. They just end things and fix things too quickly. Legend of Aang is a lot more childish than Korra. But it still has a great story, especially character backstory.

This was such an epic scene. Probably one of the best in the series. I actually read a theory on Amon (before it was revealed who he was) it said that Amon was actually a second avatar, born when Aang died in this scene, and that would explain why Korra had troubles with airbending and why she couldn't enter the avatar state. I really wanted that to be true, it would have been very epic. But we got our second avatar in season 2 anyway |

So, this trailer has lots of airbenders, I assume the spirits have something to do with that because airbending was pretty much gone from the world. And Zuko, in action! Some firebending girl with the same symbol on her head as "Combustion Man" that looks a bit like Azula. Some mysterious airbending guy in jail that somehow seems familiar. The Dai Li (still the bad guys it seems). More of Toph's family members (?) An angry version of Aang. Korra can now metal bend, apparently. Seems like an interesting season... I'm going to tag you, ?6 (CBK), I'm sure you're interested in this judging from your earlier posts here |
