Kylo Ren probably never knew that Vader was redeemed by Luke. The only people that know about that are probably Luke, Leia, and maybe Han. So it would make sense Kylo remembers Vader as a bad guy. I bet Kylo will have an "I am your father" moment in Episode VIII and Luke will tell him that Vader was redeemed in the end.

I just checked the Pathé site for my city and only like 10 people ordered tickets so far I might actually try to order a ticket for one of the first days, they only have the 3D version on the day of release though, and I don't like 3D... I saw that Pathe also has the 2D version. But like you said, not on day of release. The screening i ordered for is in 3D (I like 3D so i wanted to see it in that format) but not on the release day, i'm going one day after release. I'm sure you can find a day that has 2D screenings too. Maybe the second day too? Yeah, they have one timeslot for 2D on the day after release, the problem is it starts at 16:45 and I have my only lesson of the day at 15:15, so that won't work And there is another on the third day, but that one starts at 13:45 and my only lesson on that day ends at 12:45 and since my travel time is 1:30 I will never make that... So I guess it's the fourth day for me hope I can avoid spoilers. EDIT: I thought maybe I could watch it in Utrecht (where I study) but they only air 3D there

Still, what would be Vader's goal that he wants to complete? Destroying all the Jedi? Bringing back the empire? The first could make sense, but the second is more like a Palpatine thing. Why obsess over Vader if you have Palpatine? Unless he is related to Vader of course (as the rumors suggest).

Personally i like 3D but i do find it annoying however how a lot of theaters only show the 3D version (Utrecht, like you mentioned) becuase i know there are a lot of people out there who don't like 3D. You for example. Fourth day is probably still earlier then most people What matter is that you get to see it

I guess I should just be extremely careful And yeah, it's annoying how you are almost forced to watch 3D sometimes. I know a lot of people, besides me, that don't like. I think all theaters should have both 50/50. But really, maybe I should go watch it in 3D, the last time I watched a 3D movie was quite some time ago, and I didn't like it because only the subtitles seemed to be in 3D... but I guess technology improved... although I probably still don't like wearing those glasses all the time though. Oh well, it will be another 2 months before the movie is actually released... I will just order my ticket like a week in advance probably

I'm not totally sure, but I'd guess that it's establishing an evil empire and wipe out the jedi. Luke's apparently still the last jedi (for now), so I assume Kylo wants to kill him. Maybe that's it, he wants to complete Vader's crusade of wiping out the jedi. And the only way he can do that is by killing Luke (and soon, Rey and Finn). I think he's obsessing over Vader because Vader was the one who personally wiped out the jedi. Plus, it probably wasn't publicly known that Palpatine was a sith lord. Vader's probably Kylo's grandfather as well.

I agree that a film should be split 50/50. By the way, subtitles are still in 3D as well They haven't gotten rid of that. Personally i don't really mind because i usually forget that they are there.

In general I try to avoid 3D films. I always go for the 2D showings. I just don't like 3D... Plus I already have glasses so glasses on top of those are kind of awkward.

I don't have glasses but my Dad does and he doesn't like 3D either. But I also don't like 3D I think it's mainly just annoying and gives me a headache. Also some movies are really bad 3D and they just slapped it on for the extra ticket prices and I also sort of despise 3D just from George Lucas little money scam from awhile back, continuing to release the same movies and keep the franchise living off those...

I really like the music in the trailers it's like the old scores but with more idk like "drama"..... It sounds better and it's not enough and leaves me wanting more I really can't wait for the soundtrack to be released. There's nothing else like it or as good right now

So, the thing I said earlier, about Kylo Ren being Luke Skywalker (which was more or less a joke by the way) actually seems to be a popular theory... it doesn't seem very plausible... but still, all we have seen from Luke so far is (possibly) him touching R2... we never saw his face... which makes me think they are planning some kind of twist with Luke... maybe not him being Kylo Ren, but something else...

This picture is popping-up all over the internet. Does anyone know if it's legit or a fanmade thing, or a picture for something other than the movie? It looks like a resurrected Sidious or Plagueis (Plagueis is often portrayed with the same mask) to me.

It's definitely fan made. Plagueis won't be in The Force Awakens, they've confirmed it. I know they could be lying and a lot of people still think he could turn up, but I'm pretty sure at this point they're just going to do new villains.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Supreme Leader Snoke for the first time though. I heard that there's been a lot of varying concept art for him. There was a rumor that said his face was sort of like a snake's. I think that would be pretty cool. I don't think we're going to fully see him until the actual movie comes out though.

Well, to be fair it doesn't even look like Plagueis (if they stick with him being a Muun) other than the mask. And when did they confirm Plagueis won't be in it? And doing all new villains would kind of make this new trilogy pointless, in my opinion.

Plagueis should be dead, Palpatine killed him personally and doubt he would fail to do so. But in terms of actual Legends stuff Malgus has a higher chance of showing up in this move then Plagueis lol.

That would be a face that many people fear. I really hope it's not fanmade.

And doing all new villains would kind of make this new trilogy pointless, in my opinion. I'm not saying the picture's fake because it could be Plagueis, I'm saying it's fake because it's definitely just a fan made image (I'm pretty sure I've seen it before). JJ Abrams said during the Comic Con panel in July that Plagueis wouldn't be in the movie. Plus, I've read a lot of spoilers for TFA and it seems like Snoke's a new character. I don't see the problem with there being new villains... I think it's better this way. Resurrected Sidious or Vader would be terrible. This is 30 years after Return of the Jedi so there's obviously going to be new threats. Plagueis would have been cool, I agree, but I don't really mind too much that they decided against it. I don't know, a snake Sith called Snoke leading the empire First Order wouldn't be fitting in my opinion. I don't think Snoke's a sith. In fact, I don't think we'll see any sith in this new trilogy. Kylo Ren's a member of the Knights of Ren and I bet Snoke's their leader. So I think he's just an ancient dark side being. I think him being the leader of the First Order could make sense if he was the one that helped unite it. What I think happens after Return of the Jedi is that the Empire's disjointed and in ruins, but an Imperial group soon finds Snoke somehow and he helps them rebuild themselves again and become the First Order.

I bet Snoke will only have like 3 scenes or something anyway (like Thanos from Guardians of the Galaxy or Sidious from The Phantom Menace). So even after the movie comes out we'll still probably just be speculating about him.

I don't want old Villains as well unless it's like a cameo of Boba Fett or something if they bring him back.
I sort of want force ghosts of Obi-Wan and maybe Anakin or Yoda though sometime.
