Although I still think the crossguard thing is more because Kylo's a DIY kind of guy and didn't properly create his lightsaber, I must admit I like this idea

I feel like that would cause too many sparks or glares or whatever happens when you rub clash two light sabers together

There is lightsaber resistant metal you know though... But if that was on there then why would they bother with the blades?

The only thing you can cut with those blades is your own hand... That's where the resistant material comes in

Like Luke could be in the Jedi Order and take the oath of celibacy while Leia opts out and marries Han. But then it turns out the twins have been fucking and Han's "kids" are all Luke's bastards.

Plus that's such a messed up plot that's not needed at all.

Has anyone checked out the articles on Entertainment Weekly? Some of the stuff said is really interesting. It surprised me. I thought it was just some more blabbering over "practical effects are back! Preactical effects are bteer than ever baby!" but I was pleasantly surprised Oh, and by the way, shall we put things in spoiler tags if we talk about any new stuff that's revealed?

If it's officially revealed, then no spoiler tags are required. If it's not officially revealed, then spoiler tags are probably better.

Kylo Ren being part of the "Knights of Ren" sounds pretty cool though. I think that article also made it obvious that he's Han and Leia's son. And JJ Abrams made it seem like Luke's going to be the central figure of the entire Sequel Trilogy. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes evil at the end of Episode VIII or something.

Knight stuff makes the lightsaber make more sense
But that should be cool hopefully that means there are other "Ren" people..
