The visuals look better than the prequels by far imo. Though will be cool to see where they have been priding themselves on sets over cgi.

The visuals here look better than the prequels because the prequels were made 10 years ago. They should be better. But I really like how everything almost looks like a blend between the prequels and the original trilogy in terms of visuals. Also, is the plot thing with Luke having to be found by others after finding his lightsaber (or something like that) confirmed or not? If so, this is an way to have like affect the plot a lot but possibly not be shown a lot. And another interesting thought could be if Luke was the hooded guy with the red lightsaber. Maybe it's him trying to learn more secrets. Unless it's truly a sith/Jedi hunter that' could also be attempting to gain knowledge and power to take down the Jedi. There was a rumor that Luke could end up secretly being the main villain... it was one of the dozens (or even hundreds) of rumors that sprung up a couple months ago but I hope it's not true.

Well the prequels where not that amazing they only really looked better than the originals when it was like in space and a few other effects. And yeah I like how it's a mix of both and how it won't all be cgi apparently

There was a rumor that Luke could end up secretly being the main villain... it was one of the dozens (or even hundreds) of rumors that sprung up a couple months ago but I hope it's not true. Well, I meant that there seems to be a much more realistic feel to this compared to the prequels with the CGI besides the fact that the prequels were 10 years ago. And yeah, I've seen quite a few rumors now saying Luke could possibly be the guy we saw holding the red lightsaber in the trailer. One guy said the hands on him looked different signaling that one was robotic whereas the other was real. I can't really see it, but if that is true, that's some interesting evidence to support that that's possibly Luke. But I wouldn't want Luke to be the main villain either. I'd rather (assuming he's the cloaked figure) have him just be gaining knowledge from the dark side with that saber. Or better yet, have it as some one-of-a-kind relic (or something along those lines).

Well since I think TPM is by far the worse SW film the bar isn't very high for this film so yeah it doesn't have much to beat but I'm pretty sure it will if anything remotely interesting happens in the first 60 minutes unlike TPM.

Oh apparently 1313 could be back on though I wouldn't get any hopes up. Not like it's really good enough to stand up to battlefront or any kind of open world Star Wars game/rpg that's in production.

IMO AOTC Is way less interesting than TPM. I disliked AOTC, I normally just skipped to the Geonosis scenes. But ANH and AOTC are pretty terrible.

ANH while kinda boring was probably more fun than the entire PT tbh The PT isn't bad (well neither are very good but whatevs) I just like the feel of the OT more. It feels more like an adventure and I like those

It feels more like an adventure and I like those Complete opposites . Revenge of the Sith beats OT. With it's compelling plot, epic action, adventure feel, Star Wars Feel, total awesomeness, actual GOOD plot, not a cliche plot either. And villains that are actually good and can kill unlike Darth Vader and Sidious in the OT (Sidious is PT is far better.)

Well it has some cool scenes such as the opening space battle or Anakin/Obi-Wan duel.. OT lacks stuff like that but idk.. Also Hayden Christensen annoys me So I really like ROTS though but that's all that's going for the PT so overall OT is better IMO..

OT has some cool scenes but I can't get over alot of stuff like - Pathetic Duels (Kenobi vs Vader specifically) Boring battles Pathetic stupid Stormtroopers The whole Leia kissing Luke and realizing they are siblings but they still kiss Cliche scenes Not alot of Death or protagonist casualties Vader didn't do anything besides walk around and choke like three peeps. More action.

The Jengo Fett scene was pretty good too along with some of the beginning and clones. But yeah, everything else (minus Geonosis) was pretty boring and pointless. Although I guess Anakin killing all the Tusken Raiders because of his mom's death could be considered important. Idk, still not very interesting.

Lol yes Bay (refer to signature)
Oh also I read something that said the lightsaber noise at the end of the trailer is the same as Anakin's/Luke's first lightsaber possibly hinting at the Luke's hand plot point... I hope the sound was just a coincidence because that's not too good of a plot..
And it doesn't make sense either because Luke's hand and the lightsaber fell out of Cloud City and down to Bespin and doesn't Bespin not have a solid surface or something.. But either way there's no way the hand and lightsaber would just be floating around in space and enter Tatooine's atmosphere and crash and stuff pls

Abrams happened to somehow make a story out of this. But no, if that plot does exist, they better make it work otherwise it'll be kinda weird. I want to like it, but I'm still on the fence for it.

Droid isn't bad. Finn isn't either. Xwing guy has a weird name but I doubt he's important. Kylo Ren isn't bad he will probably have a more Sith title though.
Rey sounds stupid though.

Well, the name Kylo Ren bashes the slight chance of that having been Luke. And I feel like Finn is a weird name for some reason. Maybe it's because it's so normal. I'm not sure. It just doesn't seem to fit. Hopefully it'll grow on me.

So the villain's name is Kylo Ren? Interesting, no "Darth" in front of his name... maybe Disney thought this through and didn't bring back the Sith and ruin Anakin's story (probably not).
