I'm not exactly a Revan fan, but everyone I know who is hates Disney because of what they did to Revan. If there was no this is canon and this is not canon then I would be happier. I didn't care for the EU stuff after Episode 6 because the story ended there, but TOR I was very pleased with because it didn't affect anything with the movies |

Revan has to exist. Anything TOR should be canon. Why would anything from TOR alter the movies or OT or PT. Tor will always be Canon to me and thousands of others. I think Newan can agree I heard the Devolpers on swtor talking and it may be canon again |

I saw the trailer.. I was ok, but I agree that feature on the lightsaber is annoying and pointless. and what the hell is with that droid? And there so many comments on Youtube saying that guy can't be black because clones weren't black. LOL idiots most stromtroopers aren't clones by the time of the OT. I don't think that guy was even a stormtrooper. He was probably disguised as one just like Luke in ANH. Also, I think stormtroopers should't be black. Not because I'm racist, but because it would add to the image of the empire if their entire army consisted of white human males. In the OT we didn't see a single alien or non-white person in the Empire, but there were plenty in the Rebel Alliance... it shows that the empire is some kind of fascist dictatorship. |

Oh some more things the Falcon has a new satellite dish thing since the old one got destroyed in ROTJ but it's like rectangle and it doesn't look as good as the original... But again not a big deal also we kinda breezed over it I think but TIE fighters are back but they look just like the old ones as far as I can tell. Idk what this means I mean obviously we still have Imperial forces in one form or another and they must be doing well if they can get new armor and weapons for their troops and whatnot. However I don't understand how the war would still be going... The Empire lost both Death Stars and even the Executor in the OT but while losing 3 of their things wouldn't defeat them since the Empire was huge still one side should've won eventually and it should've ended in a few more years. TFA takes place over 30 years though if I'm not mistaken...
Honestly it's going to be kinda hard to have 3+ Star Wars movies with stories and other elements so good that it doesn't look like they just threw all the fun OT bits together to reel in the fans and make money

Oh and theories about the lightsaber  well I've watched the trailer several times now and I keep looking at the lightsaber scene... If they're trying to recreate the OT they would use the same old lightsabers as well but they didn't and I'm not just talking about the side blade things. Everything about it isn't traditional actually... The blade is too long, color isn't right, it doesn't sound correct, it doesn't ignite like the normal ones, it looks kinda shakier and unstable than previous ones so what I'm getting at is it's not a lightsaber...  well I mean it more than likely is but I think it's like some old republic thing. It kinda makes sense too if either of the rumors with Adam Driver's character being a Sith artifact collector or Revan appearing are true. The guy could also be Driver and he could be running from something and use the lightsaber thing to defend himself But really it's probably just an attempt to make people go wow which isn't working.. |

Actually, the stormtroopers are considered expendable. Why would they care about the race or sex of soldiers who they will not care about dying? It makes sense that the expendable ones are a bunch of different races (and sexes, there were female troopers in A New Dawn, which is canon) whereas the higher officers are all white males. |

And yeah the empire makes more sense with no aliens and there's like no black people ever in the galaxy so but having less blacks and females (at least at the top of the chain unless they're like sith) makes the most sense for the empire. |
