But to be honest, I don't care enough about the Sequels to actually join it in the same way I joined Freefolk. GOT was good for about 6 seasons. The Sequel Trilogy was crap from the start. |

I mean I'm against cancelling people it's dumb and toxic and nothing good comes from it. But like is it really a surprise? If I was JJ I would've stayed far away from Star Wars. Let Rian Johnson take all the flak. If JJ wanted his story to be told (no matter how bad it is) he shouldn't have left after TFA. I don't think you can trust a random person to carry your vision forward without a lot of communication with them which I don't think happened. I am seriously surprised that JJ thought he could try to fix things after TLJ... I think literally anything he could've done would've just been bad. Even if there was no Palpatine it would still be bad. TFA is what started this mess even if TLJ is what sealed its fate |

They gotta say this is an alternate timeline. They can use The World Between Worlds to pull it off. Speaking of why the hell is that not in a movie? That's actually like a major thing that belongs in a movie... I'm not really a fan of time travel in Star Wars but still it could potentially be interesting. It could've been the new trilogy's equivalent of the chosen one prophecy from the prequels to tell a sort of "epic" story

Saw it in IMAX with my girlfriend yesterday. It was my first time at IMAX. The screen is simply amazing  Anyway, I wouldn't say it was godawful. I mean it wasn't boring like TLJ, so that's nice I guess. Makes a couple very weird and very awkward choices though. It's also so fast paced with how many action scenes it crams in, I sort of wanted some of that much mocked talking/walking and talking the prequels had Plus, when you think about it, it's got a pretty downer ending. The thing is though, with it all over, the big question is whether this trilogy creatively justified its existence and I'm gonna have to say no. It mucks about too much with choosing whether it's going to respect the films before it, or simply do what it wants, damn the consequences. |

I chose to see Juamnji Friday night instead of this. I think that shows where my excitement levels are for this... I'll be watching Ep. 9 tonight, but I strongly believe Jumanji will be the movie I enjoy more.

It might make for a decent movie experience but as for its place in the Skywalker saga, it was doomed to fail. The entire premise of the trilogy is bad. No matter how bad TLJ was, TROS is a consequence of JJ making TFA ANH 2.0. The story of this era and all the characters in it suffer mainly because of how TFA established everything. Tbh it is pretty upsetting for me to know that this stuff is canon... Reading more about JJ, I'm realizing he is an actual idiot. During interviews for Star Trek he said stuff like he didn't like it as a kid and that he and the other producers had not even seen the majority of Trek content while making the rebooted movie(s)... This man actually his zero regard for source material and he continues to ruin franchises because of it... Now I liked the Trek movies but that's because I was never so heavily invested in that universe. But people that were I know were disappointed with the reboots. But Star Wars I am invested in so it's easy to see the things they've done wrong. These movies are good when it comes to spectacle. But in terms of actual substance or respect to lore they are so pathetic I chose to see Juamnji Friday night instead of this. I think that shows where my excitement levels are for this... I'll be watching Ep. 9 tonight, but I strongly believe Jumanji will be the movie I enjoy more. I've heard theaters are not nearly as packed as they have been for past SW movies |

Just built my first real LEGO set in a couple years... got the 20th anniversary snow speeder for cheap on Boxing Day at wal mart. Pretty cool set, was nice to build something again. Never actually built a snowspeeder before but I did make a custom one that turned out decently well when I was little.
Usually now days I just pick up the occasional battle pack if I see one just for the mini figs to display. Recently (in like the last 2 years) I got the Jedi/ Clone One, TLJ guards, the bounty hunter pack (good value there) and the inferno squad pack. Kind of want the New Mandalorian battle pack if I see it.
