Hmm, so I guess Cersei's plan is to make Euron think her next kid with Jaime is actually his... what are the chances she's going to miscarry then go crazy?

Who do you think will die in the big battle in episode 3? My guesses are Theon, Podrick, Jorah, and maybe Beric. I think Melisandre will come in towards the end and have a Gandalf-like moment but still end up getting killed as well.

I think Melisandre will come in towards the end and have a Gandalf-like moment but still end up getting killed as well. Theon rescued Yara, so they can kill him whenever now. But I think it would be cool if Theon also kills Euron, even if he dies afterwards, that way it further redeems his character. Jorah and Brienne seem likely to die. Tormund, Beric, or Edd could make their final stand here also. Having one of the principal characters die would be shocking, but they all seem too important to be killed halfway through the season. I would love to be proved wrong though.

I thought Tormund was as good as dead after last season's finale. Honestly thought he died when the wall came down but when he was alive I thought he might die in the first episode of season 8. But he's with Beric so idk if they'd kill both of them at once
Jaime could die in Brienne's arms as some people have thought. He said he wants to die in the arms of the woman he loves

I really thought Theon was gonna have to kill Euron or at least face him again to free Yara. I really don’t know who would kill Euron now but I was kinda hoping Cersei would have the Mountain do it.

He said he wants to die in the arms of the woman he loves I think it was obvious they survived, if they hadn't they would have shown them fall off the Wall on screen. As for Beric: BOOK SPOILERS! Beric is (I believe) the only character that already died in the books but is still alive in the show.
He gave his life to revive another character in the third book (I think). So I don't think they will have much of a problem with killing him.

The premise of the next episode is this. So essentially what we're expecting. The battle at Winterfell is approaching. Jaime is confronted with the consequences of the past. A tense interaction between Sansa and Daenerys follows.

I think there's a chance Bronn could kill him. Either that, or Bronn redeems himself and refuses to kill Jaime or Tyrion but dies in the process.

Before the season started I thought they'd have Bronn live and they'd give him a castle. But since they're involving him with the Lannister plot like this, I feel like he's going to die.

I hope Bronn doesn't kill them. I like Bronn's character but I wouldn't like him if he kills Tyrion and/or Jaime. I don't think anyone would like that tbh

The actor said Euron is the only character that will have a happy ending. We can't be sure if there is any truth to it, but perhaps he survives?

I don't think anyone would like that tbh Jerome Flynn said that people not like Bronn a whole lot this season. He said "at the start of the season" if I recall correctly. So maybe he won't actually do much. Either way, I don't think Bronn will succeed at killing Jaime or Tyrion. George told the show writers his vision for each of the major characters (I would count both Lannistar brothers among those) and Bronn is even more of a minor character in the books, so I doubt George plans to give him any major kills.

Haven’t watched the new episode yet... was kind of wondering how I should go about it since we don’t get HBO, May just subscribe to Crave TV in Canada and get much higher quality then most online streams.

GOT is being advertised hard here this season. There is an entire building dedicated to Game of Thrones at Utrecht central station. In my city bus stops have GOT ads... and in Eindhoven (nearby city) there is a huge screen right above the central station's bus information board that plays the trailer. They are going all in with this.

Adidas made a limited edition line of game of thrones inspired shoes (which are kinda ugly) and the guitar brand Fender has made a line of guitars with some decoration representing different houses each one selling for like $20k or something.... They are also kinda ugly but the Lannister Jaguar is kind of interesting

Apparently the showrunners confirmed the Night King won't have any dialogue and this they view him as a personification of "Death". He isn't really a person, but more of a force of nature and he only wants to do what he was made for: killing everything.
I hope they are just trolling us... because that sounds boring.

Yeah LOTR villains have more nuance than that.

If they go for that route, then I want to see Jon/Dany/Night King battle it out and let Cersei rule whatever is left of Westeros. I don't see what other major function she serves at this point other than a secondary evil to those in Winterfell.

I'm guessing that we won't see the White Walkers until the very end of this next episode right as they're descending upon Winterfell. Although Beric, Tormund, and Edd need to regroup there as well, so maybe we'll get a cool sequence with them trying to sneak past the Army of the Dead, but it doesn't end prettily...

I feel like we're somehow gonna see Ned Stark before the season's over.
Sean Bean's been showing up everywhere with promotion and I don't think he'd do that unless he had some kind of role.

How do you all think the battle in episode 3 will end?
I think the Army of the Dead will be semi defeated, but Winterfell will be in ruins and there will be a lot of casualties. The survivors will have to retreat (probably to Dragonstone). The Night King and Viserion will still be at large and he'll head towards King's Landing. That's where the final battle will be. Also, I think there's a reason they emphasized that King's Landing had over 1 million people last season...

Obviously they can’t kill the Night King with three episodes left and it wouldn’t make sense to go full Alamo either.

Flashback maybe. Some people have been saying we will see Ned as a wight, but that doesn't make much sense because he is all bones now... And a headless skeleton wight is not that special...

Just a little warning: The episode leaked! It is on torrents sites (though not in HD quality) so AVOID ALL PLACES THAT COULD HAVE SPOILERS!
I was actually not going to watch this episode during the night because I am going to my grandparents tomorrow so I might not get enough sleep if I do that... but now I think I can actually watch it early, which is convenient... assuming the quality is not too shit.

While I like the episode and it definitely feels like we are at the end now... I don't like how the Night King is just trying to destroy the entire world (or whatever Bran said). It's just stupid. I understand that he wants to kill Bran, who poses the greatest threat to him... but his motivation (according to Bran) seems stupid. I really hope Bran is wrong and it isn't this simple.
