I think a better fight would've been Pre vs Cad Bane. Maybe Pre and Bossk vs Bane and Embo? That's be a cool tag team fight to do sometime.

Protection is key in this type of environment and fight. Hangover has that. But because there is nothing to use to their advantage, Bane may be able to still come up with a plan to defeat Jango. Bane has gadgets galore that are devious, deadly, and dangerous. Jango has some too, but they're more up front and obvious, but still very effective. This is a close call, but I'd have to say slightly Bane because he can do well against Jedi. That takes a lot of skill. Idk what Jango has done other than do well against Kenobi and get killed by Windu. If someone coyld inform me more about this it'd help me in my decision. Of course Jango has killed many Jedi... And "that takes a lot of skill." When fighting against the Jedi in battle, Jango has killed three Jedi with his bear hands during the battle of Galidraan. What kind of plan would he be able to come up with? I don't understand why people think Jango is less smart than Bane.

You didn't read the long post I made listing that Jango has double the gadgets? And it seems Bane gets captured by Jedi more than he kills them.... Season 2 he got captured by Jedi in children of the force. Season 4 got captured by obi wan alone. And he says not the first time he broke out of the republic jail. Implying other Jedi captured him. So hmm close match I would say but all things considered: Gadgets: Jango: - Dual blasters - Wrist rocket - Flamethrower - Dart launcher (Kamino sabre darts) - Grappling hook - Jet pack - Jet pack missile - Wrist blades - Thermal Detonators - Mandalorian Armour Cad Bane: -Dual Blasters - Flamethrower - Grappling Hook - Rocket boots - Some poison gas emitter (useless since Jango has a helmet) - Electrocution thing on his arm Ranged Combat: As long as Bane can keep his range he should be able too win his boots allow him too go horizontally or vertically and Bane is a pretty good shot from long range with very effective blasters. Though Jango has many long range tools at his disposal one being dart launcher if he can pull the shot off which he made a magnificent shot on Zam in AOTC he was at least 100 yards a way with a wrist shot that's probably hard too aim.... If Jango keeps his balance he has many explosives that would keep Bane running around. Though Jango also has Durasteal armour which is more effective then clone armour a shot to the chest of Jango wouldn't down him. I would call Range combat a draw. Close quarters: This is a no brainer Jango has Mandalorian training which revolves heavy around hand to hand combat and he is physically stronger if they did happen to get in a melee scrap then Bane is pretty much done. If Bane wants to win the fight it's probably best for him to keep a very good distance and after all his pistols have scopes meaning he should be decently accurate though we always seem him just spraying. Jango also has many more close quarters gadgets plus Jangos armour would protect him in a hand to hand fight and his gauntlets would give him extra hitting power. So their is a clear edge for Jango in the up close department. Smarts: Bane may have good plans and thinks everything ahead but IMO that does not matter to much in a 1v1 fight. You can't plan ahead too much. Though Bane is resourceful and can often use his environment around him to his advantage like when he's fighting Obi Wan and Vos he uses the ledges to advantage himself. But this is a open arena so again does not matter. Still Bane may slightly have the edge in the smarts department. Fitness: Bane could outrun Jango obviously cause of his Armour but IMO Jango would still have more stamina then Bane. He has Mandalorian training they are trained to keep themselves going and use their bodies as killing machines even without weapons they are still a deadly enemy that most would not want to go up against. Actual battle well theirs 2 options Bane is smart and keeps his distance and may get a few lucky shots early too weaken Jango but I believe Jangos armour is a lot better than most would assume. And of course Bane would have to be running around because if he stands still he's just going to get picked off by all the tools Jango has at his disposal. Not to mention Jango can just easily shoot Banes blaster out of his hand or shoot his rocket boots and vice versa. Plus lastly Bane has a weakness that is VERY EASY exploitable all his tools are controlled by ONE little control panel in his wrist meaning if Jango gets a shot on that or just punches it then well Bane can't use anything except his blaster. Yes that's means his boots, flamethrower and everything else is deemed useless. Should probably read this post first. And the last paragraph that one shot at his panel can pretty much down Bane.

I don't think that actually happens or else nobody would ever use a jet pack because it would just be a bomb on their back. It would probably just stop working and I think the fuel cells are on the inside of the jet pack. When Boba's her pack got hit it didnt blow up just malfunctioned.

Maybe if it was a direct shot to the missal... And it would be incredibly hard to hit. Imagine trying to hit an object only a few inches thick while it's moving in the air. Bane just seems to spray and prey.

It's not really like he'd have more than a second to hit it.

In the fight with Jango and Kenobi, it flew away after he fell on it. Bane's duelweilding blasters! And he could probably hit it in a second or 2.

He was on a roof quite a good distance away with a wrist shot.... Wrist meaning no precise aim capabilities. And how long would jet boots really last though? My guess is 1-2 minutes they wouldn't have that much fool he would be using them the entire time like Jango probably could if he wanted too.

I'd rather have this and this has a lot of covering on it and most stuff is hidden. Then this that does not look nearly as strong as Jangos and the buttons stand out. But Bane only has 3 gadgets that would actually be any use to him. And it's not like rocket boots would last very long. They can't hold that much fuel compared to a jet pack.

Jango Fett killed Komari Vosa, a Jedi, whereas Cad Bane has killed none.
Jango has a wide array of weapons at his disposal and wears Mandalorian armour, made with Mandalorian iron which can withstand attacks from a lightsaber. The only reason why Jango died because of Mace's lightsaber is because Mace cut his head off and there was no armour on the neck
Jango's weapons (taken from Wookiepedia):
"WESTAR-34 blaster pistols, BlasTech Dur-24 wrist laser, Czerka ZX miniature flame projector, and an integrated Velocity-7 dart shooter with Kamino saberdarts, among other kinds. Fett's left gauntlet also had a Kelvarex Consolidated Arms MM9 mini concussion rocket, which utilized computer target tracking, Type-12A anti-personnel rockets, Type-12B gas capsules, and 1126 rockets. A field security overloader, sonic beam weapon, wristband blades, wrist mounted grappling hook, boot spikes, and electromagnetic devices in his gloves, enabling him to attract his guns from a short distance.
He had two jetpacks, one of which was a Merr-Sonn JT-12 jetpack; the jetpack was personally manufactured for Jango Fett by Merr-Sonn Munitions prior to the Clone Wars. The other was a Z-6 jetpack manufactured by Mitrinomon Transports. The JT-12 was a compact jetpack featuring a warhead missile launcher. This model was similar to the more heavily-armored Mitrinomon Z-6 jetpack. The Mitrinomon Z-6 was a more common model of jetpack used by the Mandalorians. Many Mandalorians used this type of jetpack, including Jango Fett and Boba Fett. The jetpack included a targeting computer, flight gyros, and a missile/grapple launcher. Both models were favored by the elder Fett."
Fett also easily overwhelmed a Jedi's defences on Geonosis, a feat Cad Bane never accomplished
