And season 1 isn't even the best. Well since it's only 22 mins its short enough to keep to my patience... I can't really watch hour shows unless I really like them like Supernatural or Breaking Bad. I don't think I could watch an hour anime show. I couldn't even watch 22 minutes of a real anime show... But Korra isn't really anime, it has an unique look.

Well, I think I was an avatar fan before I was a Star Wars fan (not sure though, I started watching both around the same time I think). And Rebels is just horrible... but even TCW lacks depth compared to Korra.

I was like 4 as well when I watched SW. I was always interested in it, I never watched it in the correct order But my dad loved it, but when I was 5 I fell in love with ATLA. And now that I'm 15... it's like the series grows up with me. Something SW can't do. Don't get me wrong I don't hate SW, nor do I hate TCW. Rebels is okay, but still not my favorite. But LOK/ATLA... something about the characters and the storyline, and the realistic views of it just compels you. I don't hate any characters on the show (Except Wu, and Vaatu, and Unalaq but those don't count they are supposed to be hated) but with TCW I never cared for many characters. I hated a lot of them too. Rebel I hate all of them but Hera. And in the movies I think I hated every single one but Chewbacca, Kenobi, the Ewoks, Cody, and Grievous.

I don't think there will ever be a show where Females are equal, loved, strong, and one of the best characters. This show is an excellent example in showing that females are just as strong and smart, and powerful as males. That's something I will truly miss from this show. We got men and women showing every personality, and then we finally got the sense of equality that homosexuality is okay. Honestly, when has a show ever done that?
Bravo LOK creators and writers! You're themes that Women and Men are equal, and there is nothing bad in same-sex relationships will be dearly missed.

But seriously. I say Korra is FAR stronger than Aang. I know that he lost his own people and culture, but he never really knew many of them. But sure he was sad and got over it but Korra.... The first season she lost her bending, and had to deal with political inequality where both sides had good intentions and reasons. While Aang only had to deal with an oppresive tyrant and a classic cliche nation. While in the second season Korra had to fight evil himself, while almost losing her family, but then lost ALL of her past lives. She lost Raava as well. That is seriously hard for an avatar to do but still overcome that without the aid of the past Avatars and Raava herself. Then in Book 3, Korra had to bring a whole nation back, while fighting archaic dangerous group of people, something Aang could have never done. He had no understanding of political problems, while Korra could understand Zaheer's intentions, Aang could not. Then at the climax she was poisoned and fought the entire poison by HERSELF. She had no spiritual water to heal her self like Aang. Then she fought hard in order to end Zaheer, even with the poison. And now she had to go through so many disorders, specifically PTSD and fight her inner self (Kuvira and Nega Korra). My point is, Aang never understood his rivals intentions or reasons. He never reasoned with them or had to go through the trauma unlike Korra. Korra is literally, the strongest female character. Aang couldn't stop his villains without violence. While Korra she reasoned and understood Kuvira more than anyone else and that's how she was able to defeat her. Korra > Aang. I haven't seen Aang but I still agree with you because I don't think I've ever loved a character in the universe as much as I love Korra right now.

I just finished Season 1... That was pretty quick but it takes like and hour to watch 3 episodes unlike supernatural which is 42 min 22 episode seasons. Tenzin is probably my favourite tbh he somewhat reminds me of Obi-Wan. Mako is probably my 2nd favourite. Amon was a cool villain though tbh I kinda suspected he wasn't what he said he was. Tarlok had a really cool story I think when he told it and revealed who Amon was might have been the best part of the season. Now Korra idk I found to be hit and miss sometimes I started to like her a lot more near the end. Though I liked Asami better. I really can't say what the best episode is or anything since I don't know Jack shit for the names i wouldn't be able to put what part of the plot was going on in each episode. If I saw a list of the names and descriptions Id know what went on in each but yeah I only know the story in general... But season 1... 8.7/10 don't think it's quite at 9 but not 8.5 either... Now apparently season 2 is bad or so I hear

The best episodes are actually a two-episode flashback to the first avatar.

I watched all 5-12 within a 2.5 hour span. At this rate I'll be done by Christmas since I'm not doing anything really till after. I finished all my shopping and stuff.
Like its good and I enjoy it but not the same as like Breaking Bad or Supernatural idk non animated shows are better to watch for a long period of time. I can't even watch TCW for more than 3 episodes.
