If they had their full budget they could have spread out this episode's story. And Toph will appear soon I guess... there are only 4 episodes left and the last 2 will air at the same time Actually I think it's the last four will air next Friday is what I heard.... 4 part series finale. No, the series finale is set for the 19th of December so we will get episode 10 and 11 separately.

Yeah I really wanted to know what Episode 8 would have been with a good budget. Oh well, Nickelodeon is bringing the show to it's knees. :/ But they are releasing Book 3 and 4 on Nick Toons. They edited alot of the online episodes though. Guess it was too "mature" for their younger generation. Really? They edited the episodes? That's sad... What did they cut out? The only thing I could kind of understand would be the earth queen's death... but even that seems unnecessary. Well they were pretty noticeable scene cuts. Zaheer's scene with Korra was off. Because I remember him talking about eliminating world leaders. But that part wasn't in it. Iroh's conversation with Korra was shorter than usual. And the Queens death scene was altered where it cuts to black when Zaheer is walking up to her about to kill her. But I wasn't sure if this was in the episodes because I never heard the grandma say this but she prays to the Queen and says "Rest In Peace". I guess that was for viewers who didn't know if she actually died.

Zaheer helping Korra enter the spirit world is too rushed. It only took a few seconds to fix her problem for Zaheer, it should have lasted a bit longer.

Zaheer helping Korra enter the spirit world is too rushed. It only took a few seconds to fix her problem for Zaheer, it should have lasted a bit longer. They could have shorten like Wu's talk, and some of the humor to make it last longer. But there's only a certain amount of stuff you can do in 22 minutes. I'm just glad that it didn't take one episode for her to get better. And that there was a deeper problem. And not the poison.

Hmm, I wonder... if they ever make a new avatar series or a comic set in the distant future... would Zaheer still be around in the spirit world? He's obviously at least as spiritual as Iroh (probably even more spiritual) so I think he must be able to achieve immortality in the spirit world too. Imagine Zaheer meeting a future avatar in the spirit world... or Zaheer meeting Iroh... that would be so interesting.

Glad that IGN said this was one of their favorite episodes and gave it a 9/10. Completely agree. Their favorites so far seem to be The Ultimatum and Korra Alone and now this Love how the most simplest conversation became the highlight of this episode.

I assume that he's in the spirit realm, but maybe he'll meet him finally.

Oh and the World Leaders conversation was a highlight too . I love the political topics in the show, and Azumi is one of my favorite people even though she spoke for only a minute. Wonder if Azumi was named after Azula? Both have "Azu" unless that's a trend for Fire Nation names. Because Azula was named after Azulon.

The last episode will be called "The Last Stand" not "Avatar Korra" as previously believed. I wonder what the title means... it doesn't sound very positive... It sounds like someone (like Korra) could die.

This episode was a bit disappointing... but still good. Also, since Korra couldn't convince the spirits to help her I hope Zaheer will join her in the spirit world during the finale and convince the spirits to fight Kuvira.

I absolutely loved this episode . Kind of say this about a lot, but it really struck out to me. So many plots, and revelations and action too. So fast paced too. This is up there with Korra Alone IMO.

www.nick.com/videos/clip/legend-of-korra-224-clip-59849915.htmlAll hail the führer great uniter! Again, I called it. I knew this is why they would attack Republic City... Also, the final part of that clips seems to try to add some depth to Kuvira's character like they did with Zaheer and P'li, but it fails to top that scene.

I was thinking... since there are many parallels to Hitler... Are they going to have Kuvira and Baatar kill themselves?
Hitler and his wife killed themselves with cyanide... and I'm pretty sure Zaheer used cyanide on Korra way back then. So I wonder if that's how it's going to happen. Maybe Kuvira's people will turn against her, and she'll see her wrong and Korra might stop her from killing herself but Kuvira ends up doing it. I think that would be an interesting way, but the villains seem to always commit suicide, besides Zaheer.

I'm not sure about Baatar, I think he might redeem himself. Oh and Unalaq, the Earth Queen and Ming-Hua didn't kill themselves and technically Amon and P'li didn't either. But yeah, since they did it before they could have her commit suicide.

Baatar may redeem himself because we saw he still cares for Opal and his family (Sort of). And sorry I kind of forgot that Unalaq was still the Dark Avatar, I tought he purposely killed himself in order for Vaatu to fuse into his body.

I hope we get maybe all three Beifongs against Kuvira. I don't think it's Korra's duty anymore to face Kuvira. I think it's more personal and Su may face her and win but she wouldn't be able to kill her "daughter" (she was like a daughter to her) I think it would be very emotional that way, bring more depth into Su. And I think Zuko will return to help fight with his Dragon because his daughter will be in peril. His Dragon can surely cause some damage. And TBH I don't want Korra to have to be the one to only stop Kuvira. And I want a full on war Nation vs Nation battle to happen. It's the last episode I think we deserve some grand scale action. It would make sense because Korra can come into terms and realize the Avatar doesn't need to keep balance anymore, and others can help bring balance without the Avatar but she can help bring balance between Spirits and Reality instead. EDIT: I totally ship it BTW.

I'm about halfway through Book 3 of ATLA. That blood-bending idea was pretty awesome. I remember thinking about that back during the season 1 finale and then completely forgot about the thought until now. Things are getting a lot more intense this last season compared to seasons 1-2. Because minus the last 6 or so episodes of Book 2 and one or two episodes besides those, this show has been pretty lighthearted. Glad to see its starting to become serious and a little darker now, although I'm sure Korra will be much better in those categories.

This episode was really great... The episode felt much longer than usual because so much happened. I loved the music and I didn't see this super-weapon twist coming... And the final scene is very good... I wonder if they killed off a main character this time or if it's going to be like last season's 11th episode, where they only teased a main character's death. But I don't see how all these main characters could walk away from this unharmed... If they all survived it would ruin the scene and make the weapon look ineffective.

I feel like at least those two metalbending guys will die, they were there for a reason and they are minor characters... and their death (and Kuvira's betrayal) could motivate Bataar Jr. to help Korra take down Kuvira's weapon. We know Bataar still cares about his family since he tried to stop the weapon test when he saw Opal in that abandoned city. I knew he was going to be redeemed in the end... Hopefully some other character(s) will die too though, that would make this finale even more memorable. So what I hope to see for the finale: - A main character dying
- Kuvira finally showing some more emotions, she is almost as evil as Unalaq now, even though she did show some emotions when attacking Bataar (unlike Unalaq, who didn't care about the fate of his children)
- Learn what happens to Korra
- I want to see all nations become part of the United Republic, bringing balance to the world. (Probably won't happen since they are setting up Wu as the next Earth King)
- Zuko, Iroh, Katara
- Zaheer teaming-up with Korra to convince the spirits to help fight Kuvira (they didn't continue the spirit world story in this episode)
- Maybe a shot of the birth of the next avatar (they confirmed the cycle won't end with Korra
- A reference to the previous avatar, to let us know that their spirits are still out there
Amon coming back from the death and to team up with Zaheer to create a social-democratic world government- An epic final shot

I don't think Wei or Wing is going to die. (I like them too ) But I know it won't be Su because there was a picture posted from the creators of the finale with Su and Lin looking like they were facing Kuvira. I think it could be Wing and Wei possibly though since they are family to Bataar. What I want though- Some are like yours 1. Izumi and the Fire Nation getting involved with Zuko 2. Toph returning and Zuko and Katara to help aid in the fight. I can just imagine another surprise entrance with Toph crippling her army and Kuvira is in awe. 3. Zaheer helping Korra with getting the spirits 4. What happened to the tree? Answered 5. Lin and Su vs Kuvira 6. Su to win against Kuvira, but not being able to kill Kuvira, which costs her life. 7. Korra possibly dying... 8. This is a long shot but since UN is no longer there... Who is now guarding or protecting Zaheer's prison? Maybe he escapes and ends what he started. It's a long shot but that would be sick 9. And Lastly... beautiful ending music, something to make me sad but also end on a happy note. I wanna shed a tear in the last episode.
