I'm watching it now. Whoa. Kuvira. She has changed a lot. She just slapped that girl with metal basically.

Well that was a great episode. A well done transition to 3 years later. Kuvira is becoming very dark all ready and the dialogue was fantastic. Even if there wasn't a lot of action, the political and conquering story was excellent. I can only assume that Kuvira is going to start planning to assassinate the new king; possibly at his coronation. The whole Kuvira conquering towns and forcing them to pledge their loyalty is so realistic. Like Pinda said, she's the Bismark of Avatar. Unless she starts wiping out a certain race or starting concentration camps then she will become Hitler of LOK. But the ending was pretty depressing. She's given up the Avatar duties. She really is broken. The one problem I had was very minor it was the scene with Tenzin's kid I just felt that was a waste but it didn't affect my overall view of the episode. But I was really hoping for hints at what happened to Zaheer. It seems like everyone forgot about him or they just don't want to mention it. And I was sort of confused on what happened between Opal's family and Kuvira. Su does return judging from the trailer so she must play an important role. And many scenes in the trailer has Korra in a wheelchair, her cutting her hair, having nightmares of Zaheer. Whatever happened to those? But in all well written realistic episode. 9.5/10.

Well, let's not forget that Zaheer was defeated 3 years ago, it makes sense that no one mentioned him... But I still expect him to play a role later on (even if it's a very minor role) otherwise keeping him alive was pointless. And the next episode is only going to focus on Korra and it will have flashbacks (or be one big flashback, I'm not sure). So we'll see all these scenes from the trailer there.

So we should expect Korra and her family to return next episode so that'll be good How'd you like it?

We might see Toph in that episode... but probably not Zaheer.

Also, I'm not sure if I said this before. But I was just rewatching the part with Zaheer and Korra in the spirit realm and wasn't there some kind of issue in ATLA with returning to the Physical realm if your body is moved? Korra didn't seem to have any problems with that...

I'm not sure. I think if your being physically attacked or hurt. Or handled madly then yeah you can have some deadly changed to yourself or might not be able to come out.

If the signature above the arch says "Queen Kuvira" Then does that mean Bolin and the other members know of Kuvira's plans? I'm sure that they can read, so I wonder how the people are reacting having signs that say Queen Kuvira. I hope she will get a lot of development, possible interactions with Tonraq and Su.

Well, the contract said president Kuvira instead of queen Kuvira... I would assume the banner was mistranslated... or maybe the words for queen and president are similar... But yeah, interaction between Kuvira and Tonraq would be cool... I really think he may be on her side.

So if Wu becomes king. Would Kuvira just become a member of the Earth Council or still president. Obviously she doesn't want him to be king but if it does happen.

I think she would still be president. Like I said, she shows lots of parallels with Bismarck. Bismarck was also kind of the political leader in Germany and he was the chancellor but technically he was just a subject of Emperor Wilhelm I. So, like Bismarck, Kuvira could be an important leader and stay the president and Wu could still become the king.

So, Kuvira seems like an interesting villain and I'm sure I'll like her but I don't think she'll be as good as Zaheer or Amon. She already acts "eviler" and it seems she has more selfish goals.

Yes because it was so good and I was prepping myself to watch Rebels. I feel like it was a mistake. I might watch LOK again with my friends and see Book 3 again.

Not sure if one of you noticed it but someone posted this picture online: On the left part is one of the bandits that Kuvira recruited, on the right part is the bandit that stole the supplies from Kai and Opal later on. I guess this means Kuvira send him to make sure that that governor would give her control over the region.

Next episode is called "Korra Alone". I guess that means it will be similar to ATLA's "Zuko Alone" so I guess we'll see a bunch of flashbacks while also seeing stuff from the "present".
The scene from the trailer with Korra cutting her hair is also very similar to Zuko cutting his hair in book 2 of ATLA.
