People say that this is her. Because the hair is very similar.... but IDK... I'm pretty sure they would have hinted at it more clearly if that was Azula. Maybe they did... hmm. But you never know.

Since we know Toph and Katara and Zuko will be appearing, then some old characters may return as well. This is almost certainly our last chance to see these characters in an animated series (even if there's another avatar series it will likely not be set in a time where these characters still live). So I'd like to see all ATLA characters that are still alive... and maybe some that aren't... oh and Zaheer!

Yeah, I have to know what happened to him and why they didn't kill him off like the others. Maybe he has something up his sleeve or that did something to make him not escape. Like break his arms and legs or something. Still, he'd have to fit in somewhere in this season (although I don't see how) otherwise he might as well have been killed when Korra smashed him to the ground with these chains. Maybe Kuvira will free him... although I doubt that, keeping in mind what he did to the last Earth Queen.

Random non relating to LOK but Pinda what is you favorite scene from ATLA? I was rewatching the series again and I dunno why but to me my favorite was the Beach Scene with Mai, Tylee, Azula and Zuko when they were all angry. It was such good voice acting, and I just loved the development of the characters in that scene.

I liked some scenes with flashbacks (mostly from Roku and Zuko) and the end of "Crossroads of Destiny" was pretty good as well.

"It all ends here." Possibly the last Avatar series. Let's hope that this blows us away.

"In Book Three, Avatar Korra had to save the world and endured her most intense battle yet. Now broken and bruised, she begins a journey of self-discovery and survival in a new world where the strong prey upon the weak. When an aggressive military force rises up led by the power hungry Kuvira, the fate of the Earth Kingdom hangs in the balance and only the Avatar can set things right." Interesting... So Kuvira is going to attack weaker nations I'd assume... Maybe republic city? It's pretty small and could be considered weak. Or the Earth kingdom (to mirror the events of Last Airbender). Attacking Republic City would be interesting and it would be an emotional battle, since it's everyone's home.. well not everyone but still.

Note how in the preview they say a new rail connection between the Earth Kingdom and Republic city makes transport between the two a lot faster... Every detail is important in Legend of Korra, this rail connection is going to play some role at some point... maybe Kuvira will use it to invade Republic city. But I still think she may invade the Fire kingdom too, we haven't seen much of that yet.

Those five hours between school and the premiere's release (assuming they're sticking to the Book 3 release schedule) are going to be so annoying.

And Korra is with Kuvira's men and it looks like she is going to face Kuvira herself there.

And they should, because it takes away from the villain's power.

Jinora is technically taking his place in the finale, the tear would have meant even more, and the audience would have felt it as well.

It would have been so much better if he died, it would have damaged Korra even more, making the end of the season and the fact that she needs 3 years to recover even better. But yeah... it is still a kid's show, even though they did some pretty dark things to the villains. but maybe a character will die this season. Maybe not a Korra character but one of the surviving ATLA characters could die...

Tonraq fell from a cliff, it was implied he died by Zaheer and the sad music but then a few minutes later it is revealed he somehow got saved but didn't bother to get back and help Korra.

So what I want to see: - Zuko and Iroh interacting in some way.
- Mention of Azula, but preferably her appearance.
- Mention of Ozai (we know what happened at the end of ATLA, but I find it hard to believe that is how he spend the rest of his life.
- Zaheer appearing at least once, but preferably having an important role.
- An epic final scene with all major characters from both series that survived.
- Katara and Zuko (and possibly) interacting.
- Explain something about Sokka (we know very little about his family and life after ATLA)
- Either show the end of the avatar cycle or skip a few decades and show Korra's death and the birth of a new avatar.
- Aang/Rooku somehow appearing.

I agree with everything you said. To add to that- -All ATLA surviving characters come together somehow. -An epic final battle in either Republic City or Ba Sing Se -Fire Nation to be shown -Zaheer and Amon (Vaatu sure) to be shown in some type of memory to show the everlasting effect they had on both the world and the show. Hopes -Kuvira is the best developed "villain" and very complex -More emotion -More depth -Major deaths.

LOK Trailer reached 5,000,000+ Good for them. It gained 350,000 views in only 3 hours today. And how many did Rebels get in a 3 hours?

So, Kuvira wants to unite the Earth Kingdom states... It seems that my comparison of her to Bismarck made sense.

So I watched an interview with the creators and they said that after ATLA they said they never wanted to make another avatar series, but eventually they ended up making Korra anyway. And now they said they want to focus on new things and take a break from the avatar universe, but they might return to it some day.

Kuvira is the president of the Earth kingdom apparently. Also, this could totally turn into a world war. President Raiko is supporting Wu and if you look at some shots from the trailer Zuko's daughter and Tenzin seem to be supporting Raiko. But Tonraq is nowhere to be seen... maybe he's on Kuvira's side? After all she saved his life...
