It was ok not terrible though. Ezra and Zebs relationship is pretty good though. This episode would have been on par if Sabines dialogue was a better. I'd give it a 6/10.

Yeah I thought Sabine acting all weird had something to do with her Mandalorian past but no... I think they should've explained why she has Mando armor and they could've tied that stuff to her wanting to know everything Yeah I'd give it a 6/10 as well but seeing the old Republic stuff and links to TCW was cool it would've been awesome if we saw some old Clone armor

So I've watched all the Rebels episodes released so far and I'd give it a 6.5 overall rating. It was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. Still, the fact that there are no episode arcs really annoys me as it's hard to get immersed into a story if it's only told over 20 minutes . "Out of Darkness" is probably the worst so far, the plot was shallow and underwhelming. The best episode was "Breaking Ranks", there were new characters who had depth to them and I hope they continue on from where it left off some point in the near future.

I agree with you on Breaking Ranks. Really reminded me of TCW, and, like you said, it had some pretty nicely detailed pasts/stories to the characters in it. I hope they continue it too.

"The rebels strike during a parade celebrating the anniversary of the Empire's creation. Ezra, who was born on the same day, is preoccupied with his feelings towards his missing parents and opts out of the mission. He soon discovers that his parents' Rodian friend Tseebo is wanted by the Empire, and rejoins his friends to look for him. Finding Tseebo hiding in the basement of Ezra's old house, the rebels learn that the Rodian's mind has been implanted with information that is vulnerable to the Empire, and smuggle him off of Lothal aboard the Ghost. During the ensuing chase led by the Inquisitor, Tseebo regains his senses and reveals his knowledge of what happened to Ezra's parents."
The next episode seems pretty good This from wiki.

Apparently it's a two parter too. The upcoming one with the description i posted? Yeah it seems like it could be. 2 parts it seems to have a lot to it and I think it's a good episode for Ezra's character.

I watched that episode, still so dumb and still no purpose. The voices of the Imperial people are so obnoxious too. Somebody just shoot them. Oh wait no sorry no one seems to die in this. And that "TO BE CONTINUED" Text. Did somebody make that in Windows Powerpoint? They try to make it so suspenseful in the end which they deeply failed out. Nobody cares about how his parents died. Why would a 12 year old boy care about that. They are dead, just move on. You've been alone for what most of your life? And that's a crappy storyline to begin with. Step up your game Filoni. And get better writers. These storylines are getting weaker and weaker and he's just pulling half of the ideas off of other shows and movies and cliches. And no guy would wake up after in a "coma" and just say I KNOW HOW YOUR PARENTS DIED. That's stupid! And why say it in your native language when he knows how to speak Ezra's language. You don't just go up to someone after not seeing them for oh so many years and just scream that. You say "Oh my where are we?" "What happened" "I know all this Empire secretive stuff that was stupid to begin with". The writing is terrible.

It was pretty good the dialogue could have been better but still not bad at all. 8.5/10 overall Id say I enjoyed it.
Sounds like Ezra's father is a clone idk but 90% sure that was Bakers voice.

I'm so glad they made this weeks episode a to be continued episode. It really makes the storyline better when you can pro long plots with multiple episodes. Even if it is just a two parter, still. It would be cool if Ezra's parents had ties to characters from TCW, we will have to see. I mean why would they make this a two parter and keep this whole parent thing a secret, if it were rebel characters that we never heard of the effect after the bans are spilled would be stupid unless what happened to them was a good storyline. This excites me I'm not going to lie but since it is rebels I won't make thm to such high expectations but even so.

What if possibly Ezra's father is a Jedi? It would explain why Ezra Is force sensitive or better yet maybe the insquisitor killed him hmmm.

It doesn't sound just like him though, they may have altered Bakers voice a little to make it less obvious if it is indeed Rex. The Rodian was said " Ezra, son of ( some person with an e)". He didn't say Rex but that was only his nickname in TCW. They dot have names remeber only numbers and the Rodian did state a name if you go back. An that goes for any clone.

The Rodian stated Ezra's father right before he went down the hatch. A name and clones don't have names. Rex was a nickname and he didn't say that either.

This might be the best episode so far or at least tied with Rise of the Old Masters (Spark might beat all of them though). If his father is a Clone that will be really interesting and he kinda does look like he could be. So we see Inquisitor's helmet and TIE so that's pretty cool but yeah nice episode part two will probably be better. Also Zeebo only said his mother's name. It seems like they're trying to keep his father mysterious so he's probably someone special... Oh and you guys saw that phase I clone helmet right? nice Easter egg looked kinda weird in Rebels animation though. And it was more like AOTC than TCW

Also that rogue senator is kinda weird... If he speaks out against the Empire and like everyone knows about it... Why is he still alive? Lol I would've killed him right away
Or maybe he's only pretending because he did sort of lead the Rebels into that Luminara trap.. Unless he didn't know... Idk I don't expect them to elaborate on anything
