Well there's one good thing about all this.

Jar Jar was George Lucas personal pet project, I highly doubt most of the other people really cared for him however they don't get a vote because George sort of controlled all of the prequels. It can also be seen as George Lucas fûck you to the audience for taking your money and having to put up with one of the worst characters in cinematic history

I rewatched this the past week since it had been a while, and it was a lot better than I remembered. Some of the earlier episodes were meh but the last few episodes were really good. Parts of the dialogue were still cheesy, but I enjoyed every episode and most of the characters. Chopper is kind of annoying and Ezra or Sabine at times, but the whole "crew" feel is fun. I haven't watched any TCW episodes in a long time, but I think season 1 of Rebels is definitely on par with season 1 of TCW, with about 6 of the episodes on the quality level of the second or third seasons of TCW.
