Just watched Breaking Ranks, and... it was actually really good. It felt a lot like a TCW episode. If you don't like Rebels then at least watch this one, because it's pretty good. One thing in particular I liked about it was that it was the first episode where the Imperials weren't all portrayed as self centered jerks. Yeah I agree it was pretty good but I don't get why everything is on that one planet Lothaar it's called or something I think.

Yeah Lothal I guess it's sort of the main planet but they should go to other places as well that's the point of having a big spaceship thing.. But still it's a cool planet the city stuff looks nice. Better than like boring single environment planets like Tattooine or something

It would be cool to see Lando, Chewy, Hando or some other known classic trilogy characters appear. If they did then the whole millennium Falcon crew wouldn't know each other yet but an appearance by Ben or Chewy and Han together cause they found know each other at this time.

Well we've seen a tiny bit of Vader, we'll probably see more of him later on and we saw Obi-Wan (technically he's in the OT) and I think in the time period this is set is makes sense for us to see some other characters like Lando and/or Han/Chewbacca But actually that reminds me we have seen quite a few significant established Star Wars characters already like Vader, Obi-Wan, Bail, and Luminara sort of. Once again trying too hard to get more viewers I think but I don't mind it's Star Wars we should see them

I agree, it's sort of annoying how they're only staying on Lothal. There's other, more important places in the galaxy...
Also, if the Empire just began occupying Lothal in the premiere, then how is there already an Imperial Academy? Was it already there or has some time just passed? I do think that something the show could improve on is have better settings. We've only seen like 4 different planets so far.

They might have already had an outreach school there and it would make sense to get it in action and get kids early I guess.

Also why didn't they just get Kallus to deal with that he would have recognized him

My ratings so far: 1. Spark of Rebellion 8.7/10 2. Droids In Distress 8/10 3. Fighter Flight 8/10 4. Rise of The Old Masters 9/10 5. Breaking Ranks 8/10
Overall rating: 8.3 However in the poll i voted for a '9'rating because i know the show is improving per episode.

Maybe 'safe haven' wasn't the right term. Maybe more like a sort of base of operations.

Breaking Ranks was a really cool episode actually. And yeah, it did remind me of TCW sorta. Reminded me of Clone Cadets and The Acadmey a little. It was neat to see the Empire with a training Acadmey too.

Season 1 of TCW vs. Season 1 of Rebels. Here are my opinions.
1. Ambush > Droids in Distress
2. Rising Malevolence > Fighter Flight
3. Shadow of Malevolence < Rise of the Old Masters
4. Destroy Malevolence = Breaking Ranks

Destroy Malevolence = Breaking Ranks Also, Spark of The Rebellion > TCW movie Spark of the Rebellion: 8/10 Droids in Distress: 7/10 Fighter Flight: 6/10 Rise of the old Masters: 9/10 Breaking Ranks: 8/10 The series isn't really that bad. It's really just Fighter Flight that was bad IMO.

I actually liked Fighter Flight. In fact, I think it might be tied with Droids in Distress for me... It wasn't amazing but I thought it was pretty fun and I actually liked the relationship between Ezra and Zeb.

Still good but the movie to me was better. Better plot and action.

Also I found Ahsoka a little more annoying than Ezra in the beginning of TCW to be honest. One of the better things about TCW movie is the animation compared to spark of the Rebellion.

Well the movie was an hour and a half where as Spark of Rebellion was 45 minutes without commercials online. So in Spark of Rebellion they didn't really have as much time to slow down. I can agree though, Ahsoka was just as annoying in the TCW movie as Ezra in The premiere. I just thought the movie had more to offer....... Cause it's a movie.

This show has THE Worse voice acting. And terrible annoying voices. And you say the latter is far more annoying. Then you always talk about how you love gore and epic battles and killing yet I haven't seen one bit of this in this sh*t show.

I haven't seen this show but I find it kinda hard to believe that people think the series as a whole is on the "9" level. That level constitutes a quality of exceptional stories like "Rookies", "Plan of Dissent", and "The Lawless", which I highly doubt Rebels has or ever will attain.

Listen to season 1 voice acting compared to 6 and notice how weird it sounds I find Rebels above season 1 as well. And there wasn't really any big battles on TCWS which I said many times probably more on NR then here that I didn't like about the show.
