You never know. There are adults who watch shows aimed for audiences even younger than those of EMH. And not many animated shows throw in even a million for an episode... I know, but TCW did.

Okay, even if you liked the younger arcs (I didn't hate them, they just weren't my cup of tea) you have to admit that they didn't match up to the standards of "Maul" and "Ahsoka" arcs. Of course I would admit that.

They used "hell" and "murder" Which was cut from the final episode Hell was not cut from the final episodes. I remember watching rookies and some clones sayed "what the hell is that" when some beast came up. BTW when I was watching the box cad bane called that squid a gas bag. I thought he called him a gas fog. Instead of a "O" put an "A" I was like did they really just say that.

Let's see:
The Clone Wars: -Millions of dollars per episode -Amazing voice actors -Strong storylines: good balance between light and dark but dark stories are not limited -Aimed at all ages, scary to younger kids sometimes and better for US
Rebels: -Cheap animation -Cheap voice actors -FREAKING TEENAGERS -Aimed at younger kids -Aimed at BOYS

Well it's still not confirmed but if the main characters in Rebels are indeed teenagers the animation, voice acting and target audience are irrelevant, it will be horrible anyway.

I did like the 2003 Clone Wars animation so I'm completely fine with then using it for Rebels.

I think it's sort of like would you rather have no Star Wars for years to come or some movies and a couple tv shows which do have the possibility of being at least tolerable. Don't say no Star Wars. That's worse. A franchise needs new and fresh content to keep it going. Yes, TCW was doing that but eventually it too would have ended one way or another.

I agree, I want new Star Wars, and I think it's going to be difficult for me to avoid Disney's Star Wars. I'll give Rebels a chance, maybe it'll be good and maybe it will resolve TCW, but I don't have much faith in Star Wars anymore.

Just because it has a similar animation to a show with barely any story doesn't mean it will also have no story. I have no idea what to expect from this show. I do agree with mostly everyone else though, I would have liked 2 more seasons of TCW to wrap things up and give us some of the things they promised we would see.

I don't get why Disney canceled a show everyone loves and then started a new show. Do they know fans may not watch it because of tcw cancelation.

I hope you're right. But it also means the core characters for rebels are probably not people we've seen in TCW.

It's time to get over the loss of TCW, I'm looking forward for Rebels and hope it will be a worthy successor of our previous show. When Rebels was announced it was the first time I thought "Thank you Disney!". I'm going to leave The Clone Wars in the past. And even Banshee said that on the comments to his "Dear Disney" Video. Although I wanted TCW to be finished, I am satisfied with the Bonus Content that has been announced. Anyway I think it's time for change, (Not having teenagers in the show kind of change) but a change in Time Period, animation etc. And Unfortunately it's "Goodbye The Clone Wars, hello Rebels," whether we like it or not, I'm still unhappy that the fans weren't listened to, I hate Disney, but I'm going to be optimistic about Star Wars' future.

I will not be a sheep in Disney's game. They cancelled TCW for no reason. It cost too much for them and they're going to reduce SW into crap. And Disney does a bunch of other evil things as well. Eating disorder jokes, subliminal messaging, all in all they're just an evil corporation masked by all the "cute" things they do and I refuse to support them anymore.

Either way it will still happen so I guess I'll just wait and check it out for the heck of it. Either way it won't ever replace 1-6 so.
