Oh no! They're using a slightly different animation style! *Sarcasm* Seriously? Every time they say something's going to be so much as slightly different from TCW, you act like they're screwing up Star Wars. Be glad they're even making this show.

Uhm we shouldn't be glad they're making this series! They cancelled TCW for this show! They should at least have the same level of animation, or better. Not more cartoony. You can't just replace TCW by a more cartoonish series that might play around teenagers.

Why would anyone be glad for this show over the clone wars?

I'm not exactly jumping for joy that they're replacing TCW, but you people are just being stubborn.

Dude, knowing Disney, it'll probably be the same animation as all the other shows on Disney XD, which is BAD.

And the animation for the animated ones differs from each other. Bob Iger or the other higher ups aren't making Rebels. They may have a say in it but they're not making it. Many of you people are too stubborn to give the show a chance. I also HATE what has happened to the SW franchise but I'm still going to give the show a chance and hope that it will be made by good hands.

I think the what they did to TCW is reason enough but even without that. It'll be on Disney XD. Which means they will not let them make it dark like it was in the Clone Wars. They don't even let them say the word "kill" on the Avengers show so even the Droid arc would be too dark. And none of those shows are mature at all so there's no reason to think this one will be. And the main characters will all be TEENAGERS. I've been pretty accurate with my Disney predictions so far so here's what I think it'll be like. -Bad voice acting, everyone sounds dumb (everyone will sound like Petro) -2003 Clone Wars animation -Basic "Action Show" with cheesy villains -Very few if any nods to TCW -Continuity Destruction -Doesn't help explain anything -If Darth Maul's there, he won't be threatening at all

They are not making the show. Being dark doesn't necessarily make it good. Sure I enjoy dark story lines but lighter ones have been good too. (BTW, TCW never used "kill" either...) Almost nothing is confirmed about the show. starwars.com/news/new-animated-series-star-wars-rebels-coming-fall-2014.html"Leading the development of the series is a creative team of exceptional talent. Screenwriter/producer Simon Kinberg (X-Men: First Class, Sherlock Holmes, Mr. & Mrs. Smith) is an executive producer on Star Wars Rebels and will write the premiere episode. He is joined by Dave Filoni as executive producer, who served as supervising director of the Emmy nominated Star Wars: The Clone Wars since 2008. Executive producer Greg Weisman brings with him a wealth of animation experience with credits such as Young Justice, The Spectacular Spider-Man and Gargoyles." Good people are working on Rebels. Sure the article is probably exaggerated a little and biased towards Disney but the people working on it are not made up.

Wait, really? Out of all the thousands of minutes of TCW, they never said "kill"?

And if the show isn't, they'll lose their whole teen audience, which US. My main problem is that it will be restricted both by budget and Disney XD audience. And TCW has used "kill" many times. And honestly, which light arcs have been good?

I don't know too many high school students who look forward the "Earths Mightiest Heroes" It seems unlikely that Disney will throw a couple million dollars at each episodes. "We have to get back, and kill the son" -Anakin Skywalker "I'll hunt you down! I'll kill you!" -Garnac "She's killed three clones! Set to kill" -Commander Fox "People blamed Jedi because of you. People were killed because of you!" -Ahsoka Tano "I trusted you. I followed all your orders. And you made me kill my brothers!" -Dogma I know. I asked for an example.

You never know. There are adults who watch shows aimed for audiences even younger than those of EMH. And not many animated shows throw in even a million for an episode...

Okay, even if you liked the younger arcs (I didn't hate them, they just weren't my cup of tea) you have to admit that they didn't match up to the standards of "Maul" and "Ahsoka" arcs.
