They'll probs be different in VII I'm going to laugh if they are still the same. I don't like the idea of the stormtroopers returning. I want something fresh. That must mean some old folk returning from the dead to resurrect the sh!tty Empire. Not really.. And the empire doesn't need to be resurrected since it wasn't destroyed |

Yeah the Moffs would take charge But the one part I didn't understand was in the ending for VI the cities of Coruscant and Tatooine were all partying and throwing stormtroopers around. Did the Empire just give up? and how did they all know? |

No the rebellion did not destroy a galatic wide empire after episode 6. And Banshee said on the NR they where going to be rereleasing the orginal version of the OT which means they may just cut those stupid celebrations out of canon (not the Endor one that makes sense).
Also now that I really thought about it yeah Han shooting first makes complete sense... Greedo shouldn't miss from 2 feet away and he's been hunting since TCW. If Han shot first it would cause Greedo to panic and yeah miss... Geroge just changes stuff for the sake of changing stuff no reason behind it at all.

The stormtroopers in the original trilogy were really not that bad. In A new hope they defeat the rebels in the opening scene and they capture Leia. Then they manage to track down R2 and C3PO to Luke's uncle and aunt and the Jawas (which is quite impressive) and then they let Leia escape so they could follow her to the rebel base. At the Battle of Yavin they would have won if Luke had not been a jedi. At Hoth they easily defeated the Rebels. And yeah... on Endor they lost to the Ewoks... but I guess the Ewoks had an advantage since they fought on their homeplanet. And I never saw Luke, Han or Leia take down 10 stormtroopers in a row (like Zeb did in that preview).

I watched the first two episodes at FanExpo on Friday, they were doing a screening. And... it was good. Better than I expected it would be. Yes, some cheesy lines but none of the characters are as annoying as they seem. Hera was by far the best, Kanan was fine, Sabine was cool, Chopper wasn't annoying, and even Ezra and Zeb weren't bad.
