Well I think they'd be able to figure it out once they see him killing Jedi. I don't know... Because going from getting cut in half to killing Jedi is a big step... It's Star Wars that does not seem like a big deal no way Vader or Grievous should be alive either...

They shouldn't have to take into account that people didn't watch TCW. Maybe some people will watch Rebels but didn't watch all movies... it will be the same.

I guess.... But there's the other possibility that your favorite characters will be "ruined" due to XD's limitations..

Age aside, let's say Maul will be the Inquisitor in Rebels. Everyone's wanting and expecting him to this cool and epic assassin person jumping around everywhere, slaughtering people and making heads roll but that's not going to happen since this show is on Disney XD and it's for little boys. Then everyone is disappointed and they start hating again...

Although from the pictures we've seen of the Inquisitor, he does look somewhat "menacing" so you never know...

M ore than likely they will make a name for themselves. I'm just going with the flow and trying to make the best of this new show coming out, that way when it does it can be somewhat enjoyable.

Yeah I really don't think Rebels will have TCW characters in it or at least not with major roles. Tbh, I don't want them in Rebels for multiple reasons... And yeah, I'm not judging Rebels too much yet because we haven't really gotten any actual content. I just hope the voices of characters aren't too dumb though... I imagine I will be disappointed with the main imperial officer just by looking at him...

Everytime something comes out its always about what we won't get rather than what we will.

If TCW would have had the 8 seasons it deserved and was finished up properly I'd be happy about another Star Wars series.

But I definitely wouldn't hate it with my soul if it wasn't the reason for the cancellation of a bad ass Star Wars show.

Not a good reason to hate it. Umm yeah I think it is. It killed the best Star Wars stories ever and left the entire Star Wars saga making no sense just so Disney could make a quick buck. I think that's valid.

I think that's valid. Last time I checked, TV shows couldn't cancel other TV shows. And really I don't think the Star Wars saga is left making no sense. I mean we imagined what happened with the incomplete stuff from the SW movies so you can do the same with TCW. I know episodes showing that would've been preferred for most people but I think you can go without them. A lot of people thought the ending of wrong Jedi would've worked as the ending of the series.

And people could go without "Revenge of the Sith". People can go without any stories. But you think that means people should be totally cool when stories are left unresolved? Really? Did you ever care about the show?

I think that's valid. Yeah it might be valid but what's the point on hanging on to what will never be anymore. TCW is canceled but no matter how bad we want it back it will still be canceled. I mean we care about the show but if we focus on what was we will miss what is in front of us. But there is a difference between that and a comment/insight about something.

TCW aside, Rebels seems like it'll be dumbed down. Idk, maybe I'm wrong. Like the villains were complex. As Obi-Wan said, the line between friend and for was blurred. It seems pretty defined though in Rebels. Like the bad guys all represent ultimate omens if evil. And something tells me we won't see much diversity between the Stormtroopes like we did in TCW.

Also pretty pissed that Disney doesn't have the decency to wrap up TCW characters in any shape, form, or fashion.

Did you ever care about the show? Of course I cared about the show, that's why I'm here. And I'm not saying everyone should be "totally cool". I just think whining about how a show was cancelled and automatically hating everything is getting old and annoying and it's a bit childish too.. TCW aside, Rebels seems like it'll be dumbed down. Well this is Disney XD, a channel with an audience of little boys so I think this is expected. Also I wouldn't expect major Stormtrooper roles unless there's like a commander or something.

Filoni on Rebels and bonus content: “There are several episodes of Clone Wars the fans have yet to see. I’ve finalized the remaining episodes and I think they will really please the diehard Clone Wars fans, especially the story arc with Master Yoda — that one is critical to the bigger picture. Star Wars Rebels will be its own series with its own characters. That’s not to say characters from other Star Wars media couldn’t make an appearance in the series, but Rebels will be distinctive for its own new characters and relationships."
So not much focus on existing SW characters...
