But they're obviously strong in the dark side and the Emperor knows of their existence, so they're not secret apprentices. The only excuse they have for this not breaking the rule of two is that those inquisitors never got the Sith/Darth title... but other than that they're Sith. Well, that makes for a bit of a lame excuse. So much for Palpatine's "there can only be two speech" then They were really weak in the force... And were barely trained beyond basic force skills..... Think about Syndrome's quote, from the incredible "When everybody's super....No one is."

No, they are considerably weak, not strong in the force at all. But when no force users are around anymore... The weakest of the weak seem powerful. Trust me, I know... I've read a couple of book series with them in it... Books are non-canon. And this inquisitor has to be strong if they want to make him a threat.

My argument is that if books were not canon....then we'd barley have Star Wars.... Most of the planets and ships and eu characters that were in the clone wars started out in books. ..

If they gave Star Wars media a canon stamp of approval and SW books were labeled with it... Would you accept them?

Okay, so I made a list of all confirmations on Rebels in this thread. I'll add new information when they release it.

Maybe they'll just call them Dark Jedi, or Dark Acolytes or something to keep rule of two alive But they're obviously strong in the dark side and the Emperor knows of their existence, so they're not secret apprentices. The only excuse they have for this not breaking the rule of two is that those inquisitors never got the Sith/Darth title... but other than that they're Sith. They're not Sith at all - they have some training but haven't gotten far enough to be Sith.

If Maul were the Inquisitor, I'd have some more respect.

Starkiller will be made no canon and I guess the Inquisitor is the Rebels version of Starkiller. And idk they probably have reasons for Vader not being the main villain. Also in reality, Vader, as much as I like him, kind of sucks... I mean he can't even run, how is he supposed to be hunting down Jedi...

Apparently there are several inquisitors. Maul could be one of them... Oh. Well, that would be interesting... But even if he's I don't think that was what they originally intended for him, and if TCW had went on Maul probably would have turned against Sidious eventually.

I don't see how the concept can be that confusing... well if people haven't watched TCW they won't know hes alive Well I think they'd be able to figure it out once they see him killing Jedi.

All I can say for now is fingers crossed I just don't think it either of them justice if Maul dies by someone else. It just wouldn't sit right with me.
