Well, it seems the animation will be very similar to Clone Wars which is nice, but I wish they didn't have to set the series so far forward from Episode III.

I kinda hope Maul isn't in Rebels... It just wouldn't seem right. Cad Bane, Ventress, Rex, etc. would be better. They can't ignore Maul. We need to see his fate in a Star Wars movie or series.

Clone Wars characters shouldn't be in Rebels. Because it's different animation and different story and they just wouldn't belong. Like Newan said, if they wanted TCW characters stories to be in Rebels, they would've just continued with TCW Bane, Maul and Hondo could easily fit in with this story. And since they're all 14 years older they'd need new animation anyway. Also, Filoni hinted at the appearance of (a) TCW character(s).

I can see them killing him off in the first season of the new show just so they don't have to deal with him.

One of the main characters will likely be a Jedi. That's sort of refreshing to me. They don't really focus on the Jedi in this period that much and I really don't care if it's an all new character, or an existing character. Although I can't help but think it how cool it would be if it were Ahsoka.

The inquisitor is hunting for Jedi, I think there will be a bunch of main character and eventually they reveal one of them is a Jedi and that's the reason why the inquisitor is chasing them.

That means the Jedi might be pretty young (maybe a youngling during TCW)

Not sure why there's an Inquisitor doing Vader's job It's sort of his shtick.

And there's apparently a bunch of inquisitors working for Vader, but they focus on this one... RIP rule of two.

Maybe they'll just call them Dark Jedi, or Dark Acolytes or something to keep rule of two alive But they're obviously strong in the dark side and the Emperor knows of their existence, so they're not secret apprentices. The only excuse they have for this not breaking the rule of two is that those inquisitors never got the Sith/Darth title... but other than that they're Sith.

Introduce new characters, places and story lines... But Disney will probably mess it up anyways. I hope the main thing they show is that the galaxy's dynamics have changed.

No, they are considerably weak, not strong in the force at all. But when no force users are around anymore... The weakest of the weak seem powerful. Trust me, I know... I've read a couple of book series with them in it...

Well, that makes for a bit of a lame excuse. So much for Palpatine's "there can only be two speech" then
