Andy Serkis did King Kong? Yeah, the 2005 one (obviously not the 1933 one). That's impressive!

But Billy Dee is gettin old and is overweight... (No offense to him). Plus he has knee and back problems so... But if Any Serkis can play a really cool character likes he's done with Caesar and Gollum, I'm sure he'll be awesome! I know Billy Dee is old, but Lando was awesome. He was Han's 1st 2nd best friend.

1/7 characters is female. That's pretty much how the sage's been. We'll just have to wait and see how they use the two main female characters they have (plus there's still more cast announcements to come since this is only the main cast).

1/7 characters is female. Like Tater said that's how it's always been. 1 character is always Black as well so...

Well, he still kinda had an important role in TPM and he did appear in Attack of the Clones and I believe he had a minor appearance in RotS too.

Captain Typho appeared in AOTC and ROTS.

One of the saga's main flaws is its lack of female characters, so VII should have improved on that.

TCW had so many female characters because it was a full show. Star Wars trilogies are three movies.

One of the saga's main flaws is its lack of female characters, so VII should have improved on that. They slowly improved that though. The original movies had 2 female characters, of which 1 was a minor character, the prequels had lots of minor female characters, and TCW had several female main characters. But it looks like the sequels are going back to the original movies with the amount of female characters.

TCW had so many female characters because it was a full show. Star Wars trilogies are three movies. The clone wars movie already had 3 female main characters (Padme, Ahsoka and Ventress) and that movie was shorter than the prequel of original movies.
