The paid professionals are jerking off to the movie but the reviewers I trust don’t seem to like it too much. So you never watch a movie with bad reviews spider?  if it's like part of a franchise I follow like Star Wars, marvel etc, I feel like I need to watch it or I'd be missing something lol Nah I’m still gonna watch it. I kinda feel obligated to. |

Tag was actually pretty funny. I think it only shares the basic idea of the real story and everything else is made up including most if not all the characters. Which is good I think it's more entertaining

Captain Marvel was pretty solid, albeit predictable in most aspects. Parts were a little drawn out, but it was a fun film that didn't hold back on referencing other aspects of the MCU due to its 90s setting.
It's interesting to see Brie Larson signed for 7 more films though. That almost seems like too many, but I guess she's going to be one of the franchise's main faces after Endgame.

Apparently Gunn's new Suicide Squad will be a reboot rather than a direct sequel. I think that's a smart move, especially if they opt for an R-rated film.

I'm surprised fatigue hasn't set in yet, but I imagine the next few films after Endgame will be an indicator of how the public feels about the MCU. Yet Captain Marvel is poised to gross well over 1 billion worldwide, so as as long as they get those kinds of results, I don't really think it matters too much what public opinion is. |

Oh damn so they did cancel Star Trek 4... That sucks I was really looking forward to seeing Chris Hemsworth back in it... I hope they revive it someday. The first two are honestly some of my favorite movies. I know most people that like them don't think they're anything amazing but I thought they were really fun

Watched BlackkKlansman... It was pretty enjoyable actually. Adam Driver's in it. He's a really great actor tbh, he could've done amazing in Star Wars but Kylo Ren's character along with the writing is just not the best... I think all the actors of the sequels are fantastic but their characters are so poorly written.

Oh my god, Pattinson's Batman... He's a good actor I think and what I've seen in interviews he's chill. I think he'll do a good job however I don't think he has the right face... With the mask on it's fine since he's got a good jawline but his face just isn't Bruce imo. This casting is similar to Ezra Miller for the Flash who was also very wrong for me |

Did anyone else see the Knives Out trailer? Way too smug and pleased with itself writing wise and pretty unoriginal with the premise (no doubt we'll be seeing those "subverted expectations" being thrown in again). Also, Daniel Craig's attempt at a charismatic southern American accent is unrecognisably hilarious |

I saw Midsommar the other day and really liked it. The cinematography and bright color scheme were very cool. Definitely up there with Get Out, Us, and Hereditary.

Oh birds of prey comes out in February, didn’t know it was so soon.
I liked Margot Robbies Harley in Suicide squad and Ewan McGregor is going to be the villain in the movie. I guess he could pull off a good Black Mask.

Sony knows it can’t do the same numbers itself than with a partnership with Disney at the box office. However, I thought the ASM series was great despite the hatred by the fan base. It left on such a cliffhanger with Harry though alongside this mysterious guy at the end claiming to have a plan in action. I want to know what happens. Still don’t understand the hate, maybe it didn’t do the comics justice? |
