So controlling life itself and creating the Sith Grand Plan is not noteworthy? The sith Grand Plan was not formulated by Plageius himself and controlling life is insignificant next to consuming a planet That just sounds funny.

I don't see how that really makes him powerful. He's able to create life? Okay how is that going to help you in the stretch of things.... You do know that all Sith desired immortality, right? But no one figured it out because Sith can't, they lack compassion. But Plagueis, a Sith, did. Plageius only utilised Midi chlorians effectively once and that was an accident. Also, he was not immortal. Palpatine's account of Plageius' powers are exaggerated

It is insignificant next to destroying planet because it was accidentally discovered. Whereas the planet that was consumed happened to house 99% of the Jedi Order at the time and it was consumed within a second. Consuming a planet which houses almost all the Jedi in the galaxy in seconds>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Accidentally coming across midi chlorians

The sith Grand Plan was not formulated by Plageius himself and controlling life is insignificant next to consuming a planet Actually the Grand Plan Sidious executed was thought up by Plagueis. From what I understood about the book Sidious manipulated Plagueis to aid him in his plan. But I don't consider it full canon though. Sidious is behind the entire plan in my opinion.

Darth Nihilus used the power of the force to do it... That quote by Darth Vader was comparing a machine's power to destroy a planet to the force. Force>Machines . Also, the planet was consumed not destroyed.

I had this idea about Darth Plagieus returning in TCW that I'm sure would never happen but I thought I'd share it anyway. Here it is: Around TPM, Plagieus knew Sidious was becoming too powerful and would try to kill him so he came up with a plan to survive. He linked himself to Darth Maul and kept him from dying when Obi-Wan cut him in half. So that's why Darth Maul survived. Plagieus's spirit hid in Darth Maul's mind until the time right. When Sidious came to kill Maul, Plagieus made his escape and was resurrected in a new body. So he returns from the dead, and Maul was just a pawn in the Plagieus's plan.

Plagueis thought of while Sidious executed it. Well, I think Sidious actually came up with the plan and manipulated Plagueis in executing it as his own plan. I think Sidious mentioned that at some point in the book. And it's true. If you look back you can see Sidious suggested most of the important parts of the plan to Plagueis.

It is explained in Revan, a swasome book.

Qui-Gon knew Sith couldn't gain immortality because they didn't have compassion like the Jedi did. Sith finding immortality directly contradicts with actual G-Canon. No it doesn't. Sith couldn't gain immortality in the form of a force Ghost. End of story.

Immortality = not dying. Jedi do not die because they become part of the Force and are able to return as Ghosts. Sith are not, they lack compassion. Once they die, they're dead. The fact that Sith can stay immortal is non-canon because G-canon directly states that Sith are unable to stay alive - again they lack compassion. That's what makes Plagueis powerful - he might have stayed alive despite being a Sith. End of story.
