I've completely dropped off with this show after season 1, not going to lie. Does it get a lot better? Quality is pretty consistent, but I wouldn't say it gets dramatically better like we saw with TCW in some of its later season arcs. It's a decent show all-around, but unless you're really invested in the characters or the era, I'm not sure it's worth your time to go through the rest. There's definitely some really cool episodes and moments, but there's a good portion of episodes that feel too generic (i.e. the characters going on fetch quests/adventures/missions) to really recommend this as a must-watch. You could possibly skip some episodes, but that might be a little awkward given it's a continuous story.

Last week's two-parter was pretty good. That one shadow clone has to be an established character, they had way too much plot armor. I liked seeing Rex and Wolffe interact, interesting seeing Wolffe find out Rex never actually died in TCW finale. I didn't even realize the base was on Teth until after the episode, but that's kind of neat.
The most recent episode was fine, I'm just getting bored of episodes where the Batch takes on a task in hopes of getting information/resources. It worked in the first season, but I don't need to keep seeing these kinds of episodes in the final stretch of the show.
So with 7 episodes left, I'm hoping we can refocus on the Empire for most of them. Still no Ventress, although maybe that's who Fennec contacted. Also, I like how they're developing Omega and Crosshair's relationship. I could see it becoming the best dynamic of the show by the time it ends.

Oddly my dad's been going through it and from what snippets I see it still doesn't float my boat. Just don't find the concept or characters that interesting. What's worse for me is that this is a point in time that'd be fascinating to explore the surviving Jedi, but no dice.

That would be fun although since we have the Jedi video games, I understand why they didn't go that direction for tv. Part of me wonders if this show would be better if it deviated more from the clones to focus on other aspects. Kind of how TCW was with its arc format. Then we could have breaks from the main clone plot to explore surviving Jedi, the political world of the Empire, the criminal underworld, etc even if just for 2-4 episodes at a time. Of course the arcs can lead to bigger gaps in quality from story to story, but it at least provides more diversity with what's going on.

I've seen people comparing the Harbinger to a backdoor pilot and it certainly felt like it. I'm not sure Ventress will come back this season, but I'm sure Dave is already planning another show with her involved. Or at the very least, she would be a prime candidate for a second season of Tales of the Jedi.
It's not explained how she survived Dark Disciple, but apparently Dave/the crew claim it'll be explored in future content. I guess for now we have to assume Nightsister Magicks played a role? I could see her being a central figure in The Path from Kenobi, at least in its early years. Would give the chance for Vos to appear and perhaps some other established characters. Not sure if I love that premise for a show, but I guess it could be interesting... I wish Ventress didn't live past TCW though, there's too many characters from it seeping into these other eras.

The episode itself was alright, felt pretty rushed to me. I'm not a fan of Omega training to be a Jedi, but it seems possible they may take her that direction. We already did that story beat with Sabine, I don't really need it again here.
Next week is another two-parter, where I expect the Empire to attack Pabu and set into motion the final act of the season. It's been a while since we've seen anything with Tantiss, so I hope we can return there for most of the remaining episodes.

Well I loved the final season had me on the edge of my seat and I am so glad they didn’t bring her back
