Dee Bradley Baker is for sure raking in fat stacks though. I think he voices in every single non live action content

I expected a post-ROTS series... but not this... Yeah something that used the Vader and Imperial models from the finale would've been cool. Ideally I would've liked them to adapt the Vader comic series as a show. Though I guess we've gotten a lot of stuff in that time period now. But if this show is set in the Clone War, not sure what else they're supposed to show TCW covered that period pretty well. Might make some sense if this is about the Batch as Imperial commandos or something

Oh okay didn't even read the full article lmao Well that's interesting. A TCW style series right after ROTS would really help fill in the gaps Rebels couldn't. But if it's centered around BB, then it will suffer from the same problem Rebels did. They can't show other stuff well without ditching the main characters

I'm guessing this is what that animator was referring to when he said they'll continue working on stuff... I was kinda thinking Disney doesn't have any ideas so they just decided full show for Bad Batch but perhaps the idea was conceived long ago and it's been in the works since

Oh so that’s why they picked that for Season 7...

I was wondering why the hell they brought Echo back right before Order 66 if they were gonna leave his fate up in the air.

Don’t know how legit this is but if true great more Ahsoka and Rex because it’s not Star Wars if they’re not in it..... This basically sounds like a list of things that TCW’s finale failed to show so we get it here. Everything except the crystal crisis arc of course.... :\

What the hell? I'm just gonna be honest and say this is kinda lame. If it were a Delta Squad series and not one starring their discount equivalents, then I might get interested, but seriously why the Bad Batch? They weren't exactly the unexpectedly beloved stars of the season 7... On the other hand, if that bit of info Obi posted is true, then hey, maybe this isn't such a bad call after all. I'd kill to see a Dark Disciple adaptation

Now from what I know about DS they maybe weren’t exactly amazing but their armor was cool and they at least looked badass lol... I’m not sure how the Dark Diciple storyline would work wasn’t that heavily involving Dooku and the Separatists lol. Plus I think Ventress died right don’t remember about Quinlan. Though I suppose we could just see a post DD Quinlan. They probably wouldn’t overwrite the novel but who knows

Plus I like how all four have different voices to sort of give them an extra level of individuality. I mean, Sev has just got such a badass voice Well, perhaps they'll do a mini-series adaptation? I do believe we might see Quinlan in the Bad Batch series though. If it's meant to take a similar path to Dark Times, then chances are he'll be there, since Legends had him be a large part of that time.

This is such a waste of resources.

Honestly, I would have preferred a prequel to TCW over this... like a Grievous origin series. Or a series centered around Palpatine's rise to senator. I am skeptical about this. I feel like focusing on a small group of characters rather than having a large cast (like TCW) just doesn't work well in Star Wars. But if those leaks are true, maybe it won't be too bad... also it seems it will at least have the TCW animation style, so at least ti will look better than Rebels and the abomination that is Resistance.

I think it'll be decent if it explores clone stuff in the early Empire days. We haven't seen a lot of stuff that takes place immediately after ROTS especially relating to clones. There's lots of questions this will hopefully answer.
It'd be cool if they make Imperial commandos canon. I think not showing Delta Squad would be a missed opportunity especially if the show is about finding other clones. In fact DS could even be the antagonists. Lots of stuff they can do (but probably won't....)
I think I could get excited about this after seeing some visual stuff. This has the potential to be at least decent. The only real issue I have is the main characters though I guess that is kind of an important thing...

These are honestly my least favorite clones. They just feel like a regression from the complex characters we got in the Clone Wars. They’re basically like archetypes you’d expect in the 2003 series.

Honestly I feel like this show won’t solely follow Bad Batch and even if it does they don’t have affiliations it seems....
I think we are over looking the potential of seeing some very cool characters in clone wars style animation, Maul, Bane, Boba, Hondo, other hunters (Embo?), and maybe some solo characters like Beckett.

The penguins really remind me of these guys.

Cad Bane is supposedly dead though. The unfinished episodes are canon and it is heavily implied he dies. But since the Bad Batch are supposedly going to be mercenaries in this series, I would say Maul, Boba, Hondo and Embo are basically a given.

Have any of you ever seen the Madagscar movies? The penguins really remind me of these guys. Yeah, I didn't watch the actual episodes, but from what I remember from the Bad Batch story reels they were all kind of one-dimensional characters based on a overused character templates. That would be my main concern for this series. You will end up with an uninteresting main cast.

I also hope they won't use the inhibitor chips too much. I think it worked for Order 66, but I don't think the clones should just become mindless slaves to Sidious. They should just continue to serve the Empire without mind control and maybe some of them would object and escape the clutches of the Empire, but most clones probably wouldn't even notice much of a change.
Like they could have Cody appear as a villain, but that would not be as emotionally impactful if he was only working for the Empire because of the chips.

What if instead they had just made it a video game, like a spiritual successor to Republic Commando?

Honestly tho this might be the best thing to come out of Disney Star Wars (TCW S7 doesn't count)
All it has to do is be less cringy than Rebels and less soulless than Mando.
