Sorry I’m late on this week guys. (Even though no one’s close to caught up)
This week became hell in the last few days.

I watched The General. Kinda weird how Anakin was only on Umbara for what seemed like not even a day. He maybe actually fought for only a couple hours. Then we got that line in battlefront where he says "At least it's not Umbara" like bitch what do you know about Umbara lmao He always was a whiner. Yeah pretty much every single one of battlefront Anakin’s lines are whiny reminiscent of Hayden lol

This week became hell in the last few days. What happened? I mean maybe I was overstating it but a lot of school things piled up. I thought I was done with a project but it turned out I messed something up at the beginning and had to redo a lot of it. And other weird shit distacting me like my credit card getting hacked.

And other weird Potato Rules distacting me like my credit card getting hacked. Gotta make time for TCW nothing else matters 😤 Lol just kidding that sucks dude. I haven't had any credit card problems yet but I know stuff like that has to be really inconvenient

They’re taking TCW off Netflix on April 7, which just happens to be during the final week of the rewatch.

I think it probably is because of Disney streaming. I don't think they're releasing that quite yet though Well there will be a gap then. I just don’t see why they’d bother to extend TCW being on Netflix when they’ve already set it up to leave.

Yeah I think it may be legit this time sadly. April is their investor meeting or something for Disney+ they should remove it once it's released not before tbh Hope the subscription's not too expensive may have to get it for that exclusive stars wars stuff

I know interest in Star Wars Rebels isn't nearly as strong at TCW, but I'm thinking of rewatching it on my own after this one finishes. If the same people are interested, it could be fun, especially since it'd be considerably shorter at roughly 18-20 weeks.

I know I look far behind, but I'm confident I'll be finished with my rewatch before the decade is out

Maybe we could do a rewatch of the original six movies at some point.

Been watching some random ones from the early seasons. Just watched 2/3 of the Ryloth arc and then Landing at Point Rain. Yo this shit is so good idk if it's because it's been a while since I've seen it or I'm just having a big nostalgia trip but I am enjoying these so much. There's so many wholesome moments you can just see how much passion and care went into this show. It's incredible I really need to get a box set or something

If they ever do one with every season plus the movie I'm buying the shit out of that.

English version is on it though.

Been watching some stuff again. First I did D-Squad. I think it’s generally held as the worst arc of the show but I would say the Trace arc is definitely worse at least for me... I think I like Secret Weapons the least out of the four. Sunny Day in the Void was probably most unnecessary but I did sort of appreciate the artistic stuff they were going for. Abafar is a dope planet. The remainder two episodes were done well but Missing in Action is easily the best one because of Gregor
Then I watched the season 5 Maul arc sans Revival. Honestly it’s super rushed... Eminence is just ridiculous with all the planet hopping and suddenly amassing an underworld empire in 20 minutes... But I think the story is there and it’s really interesting. I just love the direction they took with Maul. His underworld stuff was good it’s so lame to see him regress back to wanting revenge in Rebels. And I didn’t realize how cool of a character Pre Viszla is. But all the Mandalore internal strife felt very rushed as well. But like I said on paper the story is pretty strong.
It’s a real shame they didn’t get to continue Maul’s story. Sidious says he had plans for him but we don’t see it on the show. It’s like how Thrawn says he will use Kallus but doesn’t. Son of Dathomir getting animated would’ve helped so much.
But yeah I think they made the Mandalorian stuff some of the most interesting parts of Star Wars it was one of the better parts of Rebels as well. I’m really hoping the Mandalorian show will pick it up and flesh it out even further

Wouldn't have minded if they cut some fat from D-Squad and made Maul a 5-parter.

Just watched the wrong Jedi arc again. This shit is really good actually might be one of my favorite arcs now. The Jedi Who Knew too Much is such a badass episode I think it's honestly better than The Wrong Jedi overall which is in our top 10 episodes... But yeah this arc was way more emotional than Siege of Mandalore if you ask me...
The opening of Sabotage was wild though so many references. Probably too much actually... Too coincidental for the buzz droid scene to be exactly like ROTS. Then Ahsoka says "somebody has to save his skin" just like Leia. Then "very funny" to R2 when he flies up the cliff just like Luke on Dagobah. I think TCW too frequently went overboard with their nods and references
