See Page 2 for Schedule on Chronological vs Natural Order
This has been talked about over the last week and I think many of us are interested in doing this. Perhaps an arc or certain amount of episodes per 1-2 weeks over the next few months.
Question is how would we want to conduct the rewatch?
If we were to go with option 3 then I guess we would be taking select arcs, so probably only half the episodes from each season. And of course we would likely have to vote on those as well.... I mean even if we do chronological or order of release, we could exclude some of the REALLY bad episodes still like season 4 Droid arc or Duel of the Droids and stuff....

Instead of doing a megathread for it we could honestly probably create a sub section call "Clone Wars Rewatch" and do weekly or biweekly threads for discussion, would be more organized. And then we would basically have a section for each arc as well.

I want to say chronological because I haven't done that before actually... I've rewatched the entire show probably 3 times now. Most if not all the episodes when they first aired were incredible. After watching them again so many times, they've sort of lost their magic..  But I'll try to get in on this, I never joined the previous rewatches. What would the schedule be like |

What would the schedule be like We never did a forum rewatch before, but if we are doing all episodes it will probably have to be one arc per week or 4 episodes per week (or 10 days at the most) or something if we want to end by the time the new stuff airs next year |

So since new episodes always premiered on Friday we could start the first part of our rewatch this Friday and then every Friday after, the next part? Or can start next friday
The first Friday would be a bit longer though since we would need to do Cat and Mouse, Hidden Enemy and The Movie. Since they are kinda all one arc

Obviously you would have the whole week to watch though and if you can't make it that week, it's fine. Could always catch up or skip it since it's not like we haven't seen it before but the point is also discussion and stuff as well.

I think the chronological order is probably the best viewing order and always has been, but some things were always weird to me. Like at the start of Massacre, Ventress is just getting back to Dathomir, yet there's an entire season of episodes between Witches of the Mist and Massacre. What was she doing in that time?
And then apparently Son of Dathomir takes place two seasons after The Lawless... yet the comic makes it seem like only a day or two has passed (some Mandos followed Sidious' ship so I doubt it was that long).

Maybe December could be D-Squad month. We could call it “D-Squadcember” Hmm unlikely lol... my calculation is that 121 Episodes divided by 4 = 30.25 plus the movie. So more like 31 weeks already. Now add a a few weeks on for holidays and the rewatch likely won't end until soemtime in the spring. Will have to work the exact math out tonight. However that's not at all bad because basically the Clone Wars ran from fall - spring anyways. So we end in the Spring next year and by the fall we basically will have a new season kind of |
