I wrote down a tentative schedule for a rewatch for myself when news broke of the new episodes we'd be getting. But since Newan already offered to make an official schedule, I'll let him do the work, and we can go from there. If we watch an arc each week, we should be fine. If need be, we can even give 4-part arcs a two week period instead of one.

I'd be interested in this too. Although I would personally prefer to see them by order of release rather than chronological order.

Yes I think the point of the re watch for me is to throw it back and you can't do that as effectively if it's not in order of release.

Looks like Mav and Squiggy would be the deciding votes but chronological order things would flow a bit better as well since all the arcs are divided up nicely that way.

To be fair chronological order only really affects the first half of season 3 honestly... that's the only part that gets messed up since all of those are out of chronological order.

I'll make the list now, I'll make two. One for chronological and one for order of release. Then we can see how it would play out. Might take awhile to finish, and I'll probably take a break in between. But I'll have it up tonight

Chronological Order:Potato bane Spidyyr Kenbo Pinda Star bobafett590 Maverick-Jedi-Valen squiggy Only one exception, I moved the Clovis Arc into season 5 as it was originally intended (Spider wanted this ) and I divided each week into what made the most sense, so we don't have a 3 part arc for example and then the first episode of a 4 part arc in one week, that would make for a very awkward discussion thread. I also went through the holidays but I figured 3 episodes over 2 weeks wasn't that bad. More like 5 episodes over 3 weeks actually since there was no good way to make more then 2 episodes in the end of season 3 week. I also never wanted to do more then 4 a week since other then the movie week since that's just overwhelming. Open Images in a New tab for better view. Kinda small but had to make it fit in the document. Edit: Somehow Week 10 got removed but the date would have been September 28th-October 4th and the episodes would have been Zilo Beast, Zilo Beast Strikes back and Senate Spy

I figured right before the Maul arc is probably the best place for Clovis.

I'll go edit this list and make it for natural order now. Might be a few less weeks

I still think chronological is far better though, by the time of mid season 3 it basically becomes the natural order anyways. I also don't think anyone here really commented on SW.com prior to season 4 and some people didn't even start watching until a few seasons in so I don't really think the argument for Nostalgia is very strong.

Natural OrderThere is no good way to put Revival in its natural place and we are not going to have that conversation because all of season 5 will end up being last episode of previous arc and then the next 3 out of 4 episodes in the next arc and that would be weird AF. Surprisingly it comes out to the same amount of weeks though and by the holidays its at the same exact point

Discussion wise there's no question that chronological is the better one for discussion, it places episodes that fit together but are spaced out in the natural order of things. Having things like supply lines and ambush together, having all the Bane senate episodes, etc. Plus having Bounty Hunters right after the Bane season 2 episodes seem kinda cool.

I'm all for getting in on this action. I might not be able to join in all the time, so I'll probably play catch up at points. As for what order, I don't mind, I'm not fussy over that sort of thing. Don't want to jinx it, but jeez, this is going to be super sweet

I'm not sure why a chronological re-watch has necessarily more discussion value than watching them in order of release. If anything, watching them in order of release will allow us to better gauge and discuss the quality of each season as it goes along, whereas a chronological re-watch would have us hopping around seasons in some instances. I also think that most of us instinctively know the chronological order of these episodes anyway, so there is no need to explicitly order it in that fashion.
But either way, I'm definitely on board with this

Since we are starting tomorrow, whatever wins the poll in the next few hours is what we will go with I guess. But I think everyone has already voted at this point.

Looks like Star is the only one that didn't vote but if it's a tie we will have to jut random it or something since we are intent on starting tomorrow
