Looks like Star is the only one that didn't vote but if it's a tie we will have to jut random it or something since we are intent on starting tomorrow Fixed Lol so I guess you are down for chronological rewatch? I mean at this point multiple people would have to switch their votes in the next hour

I think chronological is fine.
Having a week to watch 4 episodes is perfect I think, especially since that only amounts to 80ish minutes. Even if any of us become too busy during certain weeks to watch, we've all already seen the show, so it's not a huge deal. Plus watching entire arcs and discussing them as a whole is cool. My tenative list looked pretty similar to Newan's, but I excluded like 20 episodes lol

Are you going to create the new discussion thread each week? Also for weeks when it's two separate "arcs" will those be discussed in the same thread or two separate ones? It might be overkill to have a thread for every standalone/ 2-parter, unless you're going for "ultimate organization".

It might be overkill to have a thread for every standalone/ 2-parter, unless you're going for "ultimate organization". There will be a new thread every week and I don't think it will be too much of an issue. For the most part it's usually going to be a 2 or 3 part arc and maybe a standalone that probably doesn't deserve its own thread so putting it together would be fine i'd imagine. By the time of like mid season 3 it basically becomes one arc per thread with the exception of Shadow Warrior and A Friend in Need

With the new subboard we will basically have a thread now for every arc and we can just go back to those in the future if we ever wanted to discuss something specific from those episodes. Instead of using a mega thread

I want to add something for this rewatch: We know prequelmemes are really popular and recently TCW memes have been making it to the top of r/Prequelmemes due to the return of TCW. So what if every week, aside from discussing the episode we make a memes from the episodes we watched, then select the best one and post it on r/pequelmemes and try to get it upvoted? I think it could be funny.

I suck at making memes but if there is 10 of us doing it... It shouldn't be hard to get a decent one. Maybe we should make a sticked post in the Rewatch board where we put all the weekly meme winners and maybe have a little competition between ourselves with a scoreboard and see who gets the most picked. The submissions and stuff can still go in the weekly threads though, my idea is probably a post that only Pinda would comment on to keep it tidy

I think you should lock the post you just made, keep the scoreboard on the first comment and then every week make a new comment with the meme we select. So basically that post is just a reference or something, discussion would stay in the normal threads. Just a thought

I was thinking maybe we should leave it open for voting, since we might want other polls in the discussion threads too. But if we just do the meme vote on the last 24 hours of the week, we can use the other 144 hours for other polls.

Its been just over 24 hours and there is no way for natural order to win at this point without multiple people switching votes so Chronological Order wins the poll. I mean if you compare schedules though they are very similar, in fact the dates for episodes line up very closely

The schedule post in the rewatch board has been updated with the fixed Chronological Order images. I inserted week 10 back in where it somehow got removed

Wow so pretty much everyone here is doing this. I think this'll be fun. And the meme thing is an interesting idea though tcw is not as memeable But I've posted many memes on prequel memes so I know what I'm doing guys

I was thinking looking at the order why does Bounty Hunters fit right in after the Holocron arc? But then i remembered the first episode of the Holocron arc is the war on Felucia and I guess they go back after to see if the Separatists are still there

The Background will be changed weekly as well to an image that corresponds with the episodes we will be watching for that week. This will occur every Friday mainly as a tool to remind people that we have moved onto the next week so we don't have to directly say anything

I actually found the date I started watching TCW. I still have the original downloads I watched and I downloaded Ambush on the 27th of June 2010.

So Sidious kidnaps Jabbas son. He does this to turn Jabba against the Jedi to make the war harder on them? Doesnt he need the war as a distraction to his rise to power? What would he gain by potentially risking the war ending by cutting off supply routes to troops and turning Jabba against the Jedi? Victory for them could potentially mean no war and no rise to power through distraction of the clone Wars.

Maybe he just did this to score points with Dooku. I mean Dooku thinks Sheev is fully on his side so he’d expect him to be doing things like this to advance the cause. But at the end when it doesn’t work, Palps is like nah it’s cool.

The Jedi are framed so the Republic doesn't get the Hutt alliance and their trade routes which instead would go to the Separatists. Since Palpatine is playing both sides, he chooses which side needs the victory and this time he decided it was the separatists. It's just more fuel for the war
