Of the options, I give it to Breaking Bad (sorry Shadow). GOT is much more immersive as a universe and fun to get excited about in a group, but there's just something about Breaking Bad that puts it a notch above for me. BB is a lot more consistent imo.

Breaking Bad also gets points for improving over its run. Been awhile since I’ve watched it but every season seems to be better than the last.

I haven't watched it in a few years either, but pretty much every season improved upon the last. S3 might've been the only one that was a little weaker than its predecessor. You're right about the quality, too. Of the 62 episodes, I'm hard-pressed to name more than a handful that were not good. On the other hand, GOT definitely had some dips for a few episodes at a time, especially with certain storylines.

Season 3 is kinda a weird one now that I think about it. It has one of my all time favorite hours of television “One Minute” plus an infredible finale but the first few episodes kinda drag.

Also whole certainly not a masterpiece, I felt like Black Sails has got better each season.
TCW probably would qualify too if the D-Squad arc didn’t exist.

It's a little tougher to examine TCW the same way, since it isn't a continuous story in the sense that Breaking Bad is. All of it connects, but it jumps around a lot versus being very linear like Rebels. I haven't watched The Last Airbender in a while, but that's an animated show that I recall constantly improving.

Thought I'd get around to Deadwood. It's kinda slow but I'm trying to get into it.

I know Hop isn’t dead (the end credits scene) but low key kinda wish he was.
His death was handled really well and the letter was really moving.
Not a fan of characters coming back from the dead in really anything.

Not a fan of characters coming back from the dead in really anything. Yeah it was done well but he was one of my favorite characters so wouldn’t mind him being alive lol. Though I think this season he was different. Kept just getting mad and yelling. I don’t remember him being so bad the last two seasons. And you think he’s the American? That seems to be the running theory but idk wouldn’t mind it being someone else not so obvious

Season 3 was okay I guess. Because the plot isn't especially creative this show pretty much lives and dies by the character interactions and dialogue. As cheesy as it was, I was laughing pretty often. This show is still pretty forgettable regardless... like Kenbo said I remember hardly anything from seasons 1 and 2.

I'm halfway through S3 of Stranger Things, but it's actually better than I expected. The first season was very cool, but the second didn't capture my interest quite as much, making me worry it'd only get worse. I agree that the show is fairly forgettable in terms of plot though (I had to search several plot summaries and recap videos prior to beginning this season), with the aesthetic, characters, and interactions making it most enjoyable.
Also the first few episodes had more cringe moments than I recalled from the entire first two seasons, and I'm not sure if it's due to me being 3 years older than when it first began or if it's purely the writing.

That was a pretty solid conclusion to S3. I don't remember everything in S1 too well, but I think this season comes pretty close in terms of quality. I really enjoyed the various plots, especially Steve's group. Definitely more cheesy or predictable moments than I would've liked, but there were enough good moments to make me overlook that complaint. Also I'm surprised they went ahead with killing Billy. Can't say I liked him, but he was an interesting "third party" of a character.
My favorite characters of the show at this point are Steve, Robin, Dustin, Hopper, and Murray. Joyce is good too, but sometimes she gets so worked up it frustrates me. The other characters are cool, but tend to feel inconsequential or annoy me half the time.

I haven't read the books, but The Witcher 3 is an awesome game. Hopefully the TV show turns out well and doesn't fall apart after its first season.

Honestly haven't been trying too many new shows recently. About one in ten times you strike gold but most of the time you just end up wasting time. Mostly just trying to stuff the critics are literally comming their pants over. My identity as a TV enthusiast is being disrupted.

Hmm, The Witcher is okay I guess. It seems way too comfortable playing around with typical midevil movie tropes and seemingly tries to distract you from this cheesiness with a lot of violence... certainly no game of thrones replacement but I guess I'll keep watching. Whatever. Still waiting for a company/network that can actual rival HBO.

That most recent episode of WandaVision was pretty great. Even though it's bizarre, I'd definitely recommend it. Feels pretty different than the typical MCU content.
