I saw that the empire event is coming back tonight... think I'll try running this team through it, I mean I beat it easily last time but last time I didn't have Saxon or Thrawn so just an experiment really  |

So any good F2P options for a team with Palpatine? I already have Vader, Sidious and Maul at 6 stars I think... and I unlocked Dooku.

Maul is bad under anything but Zeta Maul lead so don't bother with him tbh. Sidious is pretty bad too unless you have Zeta Vader lead. Dooku is alright but there are better options. Palpatine and Vader are pretty much always together, other characters that can be used are Royal Guard, Sun Fac, Shoretrooper... tbh most people don't really run Palpatine lead anymore. Palpatine works well under a Zeta Maul or Zeta Vader team but other then that he doesn't have too much place Maybe Empire squad |

The Forest Moon event is definitely one of the hardest events in the game... I can't get past stage 4. I was finally able to kill the two elders, but then Teebo finished off my Vader. My Imperials still need a lot of work.

I first did it with some pretty meh characters tbh... 7 Star, Gear 10 Palpatine (leader) 7 star, Gear 9 Vader 7 star, Gear 10 Tarkin 6 star, Gear 10 R2-D2 6 Star, gear 9 Veers That's what I used back in May after the event was reworked, I cleared every stage with that, little issue at all. Don't bring any tanks in, the trick with this event is pretty much not to get hit, so AOE is your best thing. |

Actually my team now is the same (and I cleared the event through on every refresh so far this month) except replace Veers with Thrawn. But even if I didn't use Thrawn it would still be doable to go back to Veers, just maybe more RNG reliant
Oh and my Tarkin is g11 now but everyone else is the same.

If you have Snowtrooper, you could use him, even weak Snowtrooper have been carrying people according to Reddit, Snowtrooper reworked Omega ability on his AOE is extremely strong

Ewok Flash event actually starts today for the first time. |

(and I'm saving my Shard Shop currency for Fulcrum Ahsoka) Unfortunately his kit kinda revolves around him being the leader, his passive only works on people attacking outside their turn. But it works for assists as well, as long as he isn't the one being called. Ive been facing off against some Thrawn leadership Zetas recently and I've been very impressed, might have to Zeta my Thrawn. ATF should be a good choice to go after, she should be in the shop for awhile as well since there's a 6 week gap from when she was released until the Ewoks now. Personally I don't like her that much though since she doesn't have Jedi or Phoenix synergy, just Rebels which I don't use much |

Finally got my Snowtrooper to 7 stars. Now I have a full 7 star Empire squad (Palpatine, Vader, Tarkin, Magmatrooper, Snowtrooper). I've used them on a couple Galactic War nodes and they're actually pretty fun. Now I'll be ready to get R2 to 7 stars when that event returns.

I've used them on a couple Galactic War nodes and they're actually pretty fun. Now I'll be ready to get R2 to 7 stars when that event returns. Think you will be ready by the 11th at the latest? (When the event leaves...) I'm going to have Tarkin, Palpatine, Vader, Snowtrooper and Gar Saxon.. Kinda funny didn't expect to be using a 7 star Saxon as my 5th guy for this, but I'm 18 shards from maxing him now |

Anyways looks like my new team soon will be... Gar Saxon (Zeta lead), Imperial Supercommando, Deathtrooper, Thrawn and General Kenobi
I'm really one of the only people to do this I'd imagine... after a google search there is literally like nothing on Gar Saxon except some release hype from back in April/ May, theory crafting really but nobody does this

Damn though, Commander Luke is crazy... he might be the most powerful character in the game yet. And he definitely sounds like an end-game character. I've only got Stormtrooper Han and Leia at 7 stars, but I'll hopefully have R2 there tomorrow as well. I don't think I'm going to be able to farm Luke and Old Ben to 7 stars in the next week, but I'm still going to start. So I guess I'm going to have to delay farming Hera again.

It's funny, Luke was my first 7 star back in early 2016, I farmed Old Ben to 7 star but never used him. Farmed Stormtrooper Han and Leia for Palpatine event. So I'm all ready to go for this one, just got to get R2 7 star when the event comes. You can farm Luke from the guild shop as well, he appears frequently |
