So in some unfortunate news... Kathleen Kennedy was extended for 3 more years It’s until 2021... well at least we have Clone Wars season 7... Should have just promoted Filoni to be head of Star Wars... at least he understands it and I mean like all of it. He knows pretty much all the legends storylines and incorporated many into Rebels |

So in some unfortunate news... Kathleen Kennedy was extended for 3 more years "Look Iger, just give me three more years and I know I can officially sink this franchise." An ironic twist, given the long running rumours she was going to get ejected this year. Afraid this is only yet another bad decision. I highly doubt she's that interested, to say the least, about Star Wars and despite changing tactics lately with TLJ and Solo flopping, she has failed to look like a competent leader. Just because she's produced great films in the past, like many of her defenders will say, does not mean she's got the stuff in being good at this job. In short, bad news really, to be stuck with a typically sleazy producer with seemingly poor business sense. I know Dave's let me down with Rebels and especially Resistance, but there's no way he'd be running the brand into the ground like this if he got the big chair. |

Been a while since Kennedy has said much, but recently she's piped up just enough to confirm the Boba Fett film was joining the dodo and going all in with the Mandalorian instead. That sucks. There was probably a really goof film to be had out of him. Then again, could we ever fully trust Disney with pulling it off?

Star Wars Theory is making a Vader fan film or series (but not sure if he will have the funds to do an actual multi episode series) and I have to say I'm pretty excited. It looks like he's taking a lot of inspiration from the Vader comics which is good because those are awesome. Honestly most Star Wars fan films are just weird imo like it's always some made up Jedi or something running through the woods and it doesn't really feel all that much like Star Wars... but I think this will be different

So I just learned they renamed the original Star Wars movie to "Episode 4: A New Hope" in 1981. I figured they did that around the time the prequels first came out... but it was apparently called Episode 4 for 18 years, until we finally got episode 1-3. That is actually kind of strange, I didn't know Lucas was that serious about doing the prequels back in the early 80s.

Btw the final Vader comic in the post ROTS series released and the ending was really cool... Some spoilers ahead...
it’s was basically Vader in a vision sequence, some of it real and some of it not. But he saw elements if his past and his future. Which makes the line in Rebels “It was foretold you would be here, our long awaited meeeting has come at last” make a whole lot more sense, Vader knew he would face Ahsoka.
And st the end of the visions, Vader approaches this Pilar of Light with a Jedi walking from it and when he goes to draw his sword the vision ends. Obviously that symbolizes Luke and Vader’s redemption.

Was a very cool ending to the storyline, Vader’s first line in the series was “No” and his last was “Yes” accepting he new place as a Sith

Windu shouldn’t technically know Anakin is Vader though... unless he was in contact with Kenobi. But in the old EU even Kenobi was surprised when he learned of Machine Vader |
