I thought it was suspenseful when the focus was on Rex, Ahsoka, Fives, or other characters who could die. Yeah but the plots were still fairly predictable I thought Umbara and Order 66 were pretty unpredictable.

Yeah but the plots were still fairly predictable I thought Umbara and Order 66 were pretty unpredictable. Umbara and a pretty simple plot which was just fighting in a battle... The Republic was going to win as it almost always does and Krell was acting weird from the start so you could tell something was up Order 66 was alright I guess had no idea about the chips

And yeah the Krell part was obvious but you didn't know if he'd be defeated or which characters would survive.

TCW is an extremely simple show compared to most of the other things on TV. It's mainly because of the 22 minute run time. "Compared" This is where it goes wrong. You should never compare something ever, especially series that aren't even in the same genre. Each show has its own thing to strive towards wich means that every show has its own meaning of depth and complexity. It seems a lot of people aren't looking deep enough into this show. The whole reason why they can't be compared is because the other shows are more complex. TCW is basically 22 minutes of Star Wars every episode. They've got the Jedi Fortune Cookies and themes and morals but it's really not that complex. It's pretty straightforward.

The show isn't complex or deep ra lily everything is pretty much predicted accurately since you know who dies and who lives and all the plot lines and stuff

Hmm... I remember this one was pretty dark and I liked the whole concept of the Malevolence.

The battle droids were annoying tho. They kinda killed the dark mood with their dumb wackiness.

Yeah it was good I guess it was kind of dark with the droids picking everyone off. The Plo/Clones stuff was good as well

Pretty bad imo. Ahsoka was annoying True. I remember her saying "Artooie" which is probably my least favorite word ever uttered in Star Wars.

Rising Malevolence was kind of boring... Probably my least favorite of the trilogy. Going with "meh"

This is a very good episode. From a fantastic opening sequence showcasing the power of the Malevolence to Plo Koon bonding with his Clones while the Droids attempted to leave no traces before ending with the awesome reveal of the Malevolence in its full glory for Anakin and Ahsoka. The droids were also pretty funny here. Too bad the facial animation is terrible in this one.
Overall an 8/10

This is a very good episode. It has a strong structure. There are some high stakes and all characters that need screentime get just enough of it. Also the music is really good in this one. I liked how this was the first episode that really focused on only a small rogue group instead of a large army and pulled it off nicely. It also showed nicely how not all of that small group can survive. Anakin disobeying orders and saving the day was nothing new though but it was a nice inclusion anyway.

Yeah... this one might be the weakest of the arc...
I mean, it was definitely cool seeing the inside of the ship... and there were some cool action scenes...
But overall, it was really predictable and there was nothing at stake. We knew all these heroes would live and the ship would get destroyed... Not even any clones on board to add a bit of suspense...
