The Droid arc would've been infinitely more entertaining with Skippy the Jedi Droid.

They basically have to reshoot the entire movie. They're wasting my girl Emilia Clarkes time. She got Season 8 to film! She's a pretty bad actress, one who I didn't want in the film. So if they want to drop her for someone more talented to be the female lead, I'm good for it

Jk you kinda right Her delivery of lines is usually pretty bad honestly... and she has a great talent for making already boring sitting in chair scenes... even more boring

Jk you kinda right Her delivery of lines is usually pretty bad honestly... and she has a great talent for making already boring sitting in chair scenes... even more boring I think she plays her role very well in GOT... It may seem poorly acted at times, but that actually fits the character. Daenerys tries to seem very confident but in reality she does not seem to be sure what she is doing half the time... and that fits with the way Clarke acts... I'm not sure if it is intentional though...

Apparently they had to bring in an acting coach for Alden Ehrenreich...

Apparently they had to bring in an acting coach for Alden Ehrenreich... Bet it was Kathleen... Seriously just let them do what they do I guarantee without executive interference, these movies would be even better

Sounds like all the negativity that usually surrounds a big upcoming film before release. Not really that concerning so far. Seems to me the news is jumping on the TLJ controversy bandwagon.

Maybe, yes, but when this stuff starts doing the rounds, it does have a habit of being partially true. Doesn't matter much to me though. A Han Solo film isn't exactly what I'd choose as my second Star Wars spin-off.

I never had faith in this movie. I don't think we need a Han Solo film set before ANH. Also, apparently Vader is involved, which makes little sense. We don't need Vader being involved with Han Solo before ANH... that would be kind of stupid.

Honestly, I doubt I will watch this in the cinema. If heard rumors that Palpatine is in it too, if those turn out to be true, I might watch it in cinema just because I love Sheev... But if not, I probably won't.

Well I think in the old Canon, Han Solo started out as imperial officer out of the academy who ran into Chewbacca as a slave or something and freed him and some other Wookiees and that was how he defected from the Empire and became a smuggler. So yeah if they do something like that than maybe Vader would be involved if Han like worked on his star destroyer or something

Like the film follows Solo from Imperial ranks to scoundrel/smuggler. It could also help better explain how Solo appears to know a lot about the Empire and getting past them in the OT. And I can already picture the possibilities of the humor with Han, Chewie, and even Lando meeting up for the first time.

I'm still surprised we haven't got a trailer yet, considering this is 5 months away and it's Star Wars. I guess they don't want it to get lost amid TLJ news, so maybe mid-January?

I'm expecting a December release tbh, TFA, Rouge One and TLJ were all originally planned for May and got pushed back I think. Plus if it's in May it has to compete with Infinity War (Marvel) I think, Jurassic Park (why they are making another idk) and whatever D.C. movie that will probably be released at that time and Han Solo film might not be and immediate favorite competeting with those.

Yeah I think it really is the best origin idea for Han since if he frees Chewbacca he would owe him a life debt, Han would probably not make him honor that but as they become friends than he just stays around anyways

I thought Solo would be pushed back to December as well, and like you said, there's a lot of competition in May/June for Solo at the box office. After three December releases, you would think Star Wars would stick with that slot. Also, TLJ was announced to be pushed back from May to December almost 2 years in advance. Here we are 5 months away from the expected May release of Solo, and there is still no news of it being delayed. At this point, it seems it will stay in May. There have been posters at my theater advertising it for a May release, and I'm sure thousands of other theaters are doing the same, so it would certainly be strange to delay it this late.

If they were smart they would at least out a teaser for it before TLJ plays in theatres but they didn't so it seems strange not to do that

I still think it seems unnecessary to have Vader in the movie though. The Empire must have thousands of military leaders.
