Maybe I should watch this soon. I think I always see at least a few spoilers about every movie before I actually see it. I'm not sure if I've had an unspoiled experience recently
But somehow it is not that hard for me to avoid spoilers. Usually I actively go looking for them just to know what happens...

Yeah, Endgame was great. I actually think I liked Infinity War a bit more... but this was still a really good conclusion. Also, the movie's already made $1.2 billion in its first weekend alone. Honestly I agree I liked Infinity War more. Thanos is a very hard villain to hate when his goal is in a distorted way kind of justified.... Also pretty sure Loki is alive which is cool... although Marvels definition of time travel and it’s effects are vastly under explained when compared to DC.

It’s Thursday evening... full week after the release and my theatre was basically full, like literally.

Well, they think his new show on Disney+ is going to be about the Loki that escaped in the 2012 timeline. But as far as the current timeline goes, that Loki is safely dead I think. It should be an interesting series though, since he's one of my favorite characters of the MCU.

I'm seeing Endgame on Thursday. I can't believe I haven't had any spoilers yet. Is it worth a 3 hour sit in for a conclusion?

I am hearing of this movie everywhere. Not a joke but like this is almost more hyped to me than "The Force Awakens" call me crazy. The box office says so in sales, people keep posting about it everywhere and reviews are great. Maybe not but it sure seems that way.

Endgame just surpassed Titanic globally, so at this point, it seems almost guaranteed to beat Avatar.

Is it just me or was Thanos a hell of a lot bigger like Snoke was at first in Avengers 1 while talking to Loki?

Finally watched Endgame. Very good. I dont understand the ending with cap though. Did he go back and tamper with the experiment so he could live a normal life? If so then wouldn't that erase his memories of who the other Avengers were? Seeing as though he knew all of them through a variant timeline he decided to alter by coming back as an old man, how would he have memories from a life that never existed? Hard to explain what I'm trying to say exactly but very good still. Also, did we just see Thor join the Gaurdians? A lot to digest in this one. Time travel always leaves unexplained loops which is why I never liked DC all that much. It fit for this movie though.

I hope they give a proper ending to Hulk. They capped of Iron Man, Thor and Cap in Endgame but Hulk has a dead end. Unless they have appearances planned for him in the future.

They dropped so many new shows and films for Phase 4. Part of me is a little overwhelmed and find it a bit excessive, but at the same time, I’m sure it’ll be handled well.

Lmao I watched Endgame just now. As much as I don't care for Marvel, I can't lie it was quite a ride. I feel like I liked Infinity War more but idk this had some epic moments. Like the shot towards the end with the three OGs, Cap, Stark, and Thor, walking towards Thanos was badass. But then that shot when all the female characters squad up and Peter has to kinda duck out of the frame.... Lmaooo a little bit cringe but whatever. Kinda in line with showing Fortnite on the tv... But what can you expect it's Marvel
I decided not to watch Ant Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel before it. I kept putting it off because I hadn't seen those but I was far more interested in Endgame than those two so I figured fuck it. Though I might give Ant Man another to because I liked Scott in this one. I had started to watch it a while back but got bored like 3 minutes in lol.

But when they first announced these wasn't there going to be an Infinity War part 3 as well? What happened to that? So I guess this is the end of iron man and Captain America. It's crazy to remember where we started from over 10 years ago

Captain Marvel was okay. Ben Mendelsohn was my favorite part glad he didn't die. I don't really understand the thing with him turning into the shield boss though. First of all we never saw the real person which I think we should have because it felt a little random... Also why would they have the same voice lol. Unless he was doing an accent as the human but it didn't really seem like it
Also Carol seems kinda OP... I didn't really like her tbh. Far too arrogant and not enough humility

Falcon and Winter Soldier was kinda lame honestly lol. And it's hard for me to care about Falcon and I personally think Anthony Mackie is a sort of bland actor...

Saw it too and thought it wasn't the best. Hats off to the special effects being excellent for tv, but lord this thing was strung together by as many cliches and hackneyed one liners as they could think of. So many times I hear dialogue I felt like had been said a thousand times in so many things. You'd think writers would be hugely opposed to that kind of creative bankruptcy, but here we are.
As I thought, it's more the Loki series that'll probably be the most interesting...

So I watched the first Iron Man after who knows how many years... It feels so different compared to modern MCU. I think I always considered it and the first Captain America to be the best Marvel movies. I'll probably do a full rewatch of phase I and see if my opinion stands but I think I might find phase I overall superior than everything else. I actually used to really like old marvel new marvel just doesn't make me feel anything. Thanks Disney...
But back to Iron Man I think it's a really solid film. Only criticism I think though is Iron Monger was not fleshed out enough as a villain. There's no backstory and only a really vague motivation. Then he becomes crazy and murder-y way too fast... But everything else was so great I loved Pepper and RDJ's performance was fantastic. I could not see anyone else playing this character. And holy shit Favreau used to be thin lol.... But there was a lot from this movie which I think has pretty clearly been an influence on Mandalorian.
Also one other nitpick but I really felt like the CGI was kind of poor at times mostly with the iron man suits and other gadgets... Strange how no one criticizes CGI in stuff like this but for some reason the CGI in the prequels is a huge problem when comparatively it's not much worse...

I finished phase I. I think Thor was the dud out of the 5 it was just so incredibly boring I was on my phone for most of it lol... Captain America was incredible though. I think it and Iron Man were really well done. I know Iron Man 2 isn't that popular but I thought it was alright. If nothing else, more entertaining than Thor. And Avengers was actually really epic... Probably gonna have to continue and rewatch them all now
Some I am tempted to skip though... Like Thor 2, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Ant Mans all those I think I found boring. Thor 2 worst of all like that sucks as a follow up to Avengers lol. But back to Avengers it's kind of surprising to me how fast they all came together considering half the team (BW, Hawkeye, Hulk) had little to no background. Hulk especially like he came out of nowhere but everyone already kind of knew about him. I'm not sure if if the Ed Norton movie is part of the canon, if not I think more Hulk would've been beneficial. If not a whole movie at least a cameo or something like BW and Hawkeye

You can definitely tell the director was a guy who worked more in television. Just like how you can also tell now how it was directed by a very cancelled guy

Phase 2 thoughts:
Iron Man 3: I think it's not the most popular but honestly I quite like this one. Might be one of my favorite MCU films actually. Idk why I guess there's just a lot of cool stuff going on. And I saw an interesting theme analysis from someone who suggested the main theme of the movie is "you create your own demons". This is reflected in the story because Tony's basically made "the Mandarin" out to be his next big bad he has to face but reality is different or something along those lines...
Thor Dark World: While I didn't remember the plot of the movie, I remembered how bored I was watching it the first time and that didn't change lol. But I think somehow something made it ever so slightly better than the first for me. But yeah both Thors are probably at the bottom for my rankings they just don't do anything for me and are hard to stay engaged with
Captain America Winter Soldier: This one is really great. It's like a spy thriller with a superhero skin. Also I found the fight choreography to be particularly well done. One thing I didn't like was how they basically destroyed SHIELD... Felt too early to do that. I think that also kind of took away many opportunities for the future and they had to work around not having the organization anymore
Guardians of the Galaxy: Loved it. Something way different from the previous Avengers stuff and very easy to enjoy space adventure movie. But honestly Thanos is looking kind of dumb for trying the same plan twice and doing it so incompetently lol
Age of Ultron: It was fine. I did enjoy it but it didn't feel like anything spectacular. Didn't have the same epicness as the first one. I guess last time there was this massive build up to the team up but this time they are together from the start. And I think Wanda and Pietro were not utilized well. It's not surprising people didn't really like Aaron Taylor Johnson's Quicksilver I mean Whedon didn't write any cool lines or scenes for him. And their accents were a little silly. So yeah kind of an average Marvel movie I guess
Ant Man: I think this may be the point Marvel started feeling over saturated. Like it was a decent film but also felt like more of the same. Another super soldier/war profiteering plot with a generic villain to defeat at the end. The heist aspect wasn't particularly impressive. Scott's redemption arc is nothing new we already saw it in the first Iron Man. Also it is so hard to buy Paul Rudd as a criminal... I guess they made it out to be a white collar/hacker crime or something but still it's hard to imagine him breaking any laws.
But yeah I'm having fun with this rewatch tbh. Idk why I was shitting on marvel before the movies are overall pretty good and enjoyable. Can't wait for Infinity War. I actually binged Cap, GOTG, and Avengers in one day which is crazy because normally it is hard for me to find the patience to sit through movies lol
