Maybe the Sci-Fi element should be a one-time thing maybe because it's still in SW Galaxy.

Maybe the Sci-Fi element should be a one-time thing maybe because it's still in SW Galaxy. Well, I planned to have some sci-fi elements in my first Ambodia quest. I mean it's possible that there are other planets in the Ambodia universe, some that are far more developed.

You know... I think if we just sort of stick to the original combat system but add in some new elements it might actually work pretty well.
So here's my idea on the combat system: Every player has physical attack/defense and magical attack/defense stats. These determine the damage dealt/received by physical and magical attack. For example if I attack someone with 10 magical damage and he has 7 magical defense he'll only take 3 damage. This adds in extra strategy because you'll need a team with magical and physical attack and you'd need to decide which enemy you are going to attack (since enemies may have different defensive stats). So each turn you can attack with a weapon or spell. This will cost energy, once you run out of energy you have to rest, so you have to be careful. Certain spells and abilities will cost more energy than others, but they will also have different effects. Some also have cooldowns (like you can only use them once every 3 combat rounds). So you'll have to plan carefully. You can also choose to rest a round to restore energy.
We could try this and see how it goes... unless anyone has a better idea.

I think maybe we should just start and see how it will go... I think we already have a much more complicated game than the original Ambodia when the first quest started... so maybe we should just start sign-ups and make the rest of the rules as we play.

Or just use Killas thing for Sci fi Well yeah but Killa's thing is basically just like a text based "adventure" (I think I've heard it called that somewhere.. ) whereas this has like battle stuff so it might be fun to have sci-fi mixed in with this.. But I'm not saying put sci-fi in Ambodia, I'm saying make Ambodia a universe with quests that are all part of one story and then make another universe (sci-fi) with it's own quests. And like I kinda doubt there will be non-stop quests... There will be breaks between them for other things if anyone wants to do it.. And also I'm kinda in the minority I think, wanting to do something sci-fi, so I guess I'd have to set it up... Which I don't want to do right now so none of it will happen for a while I'm just saying it could be a possibility

Its just writing.

Pinda should we just make a sub section for now to keep things more organized?

Pinda should we just make a sub section for now to keep things more organized? Well I guess we could make a sub-section in the game board since there aren't any games going on now. If Ambodia proves successful we can make a new board.

I'll probably copy and paste all the text from each quest into a book of sorts.

The plug in doesn't really work on iPhone. It should work if you switch to the desktop version (which, in my opinion, is better even on mobile devices)

You should make the Ambodia have it's own thread instead of a sub one in Ambush games. So it's just easier to navigate.

And am I able to use this race e? It's an old alien race belief (actual real alien race someone believed is real.) [from: www.bibliotecapleyades.net/vida_alien/alien_races00.htm ] Being that dwells in spiritual darkness. The person may be intellectually developed. The Buttah are normally associated with nightmares, abductions and the taking of small children. They usually come around at night. The Grey aliens who do abductions falls into this category. The Reptilians are also part of this group. They are usually not very physically attractive. Apparently long ago there was a visitation long ago by Buttahs called Wacshashas who were negative, powerful, aggressive beings.

But the game's setting is more fantasy/medieval so aliens don't really belong there. So this race would have to be native to Ambodia and have no alien technology and stuff.

Yeah I wasn't planning on it having alien tech, and stuff. I just wanted them to be more like creatures who dwell in the dark, and live in caves. And are usually spies (Which I want my character to be)

I saw that this was one of the many things that happened while I was gone for a week. I'm really happy to see that you guys started it back up again. It was a fun concept that definitely needed work, but I guess it just didn't last long enough to be improved. But a lot of hard work was put into it so it's nice to see it revived. This seems much more thought out with the rules from what I've looked at of it. I'll try to make a character in the near future.
