Finally got around to finishing chapter 4...
I think Carletta will eventually give in to killing her opponents. Because otherwise she'll never be able to complete her goal. She can't be seen as a rebel.

And Chapter 6 as well. I was kinda surprised by what happened at the end. I was pretty sure Matturn was just gonna be some creepy, pedophile plot device, but now he threatened to kill her...

Read chapter 5. The entire scene between Matturn and Carletta was really good. Matturn is probably my favorite character and I'm beginning to think Carletta will soon have to begin changing how she acts during and after these trials.

Wait how many chapters are there now ahh I only remember reading the first 2 but I really liked the story and TOR setting so I must read more soon. I'm not very good with keeping up on series I want to start watching Underworld as well cause hype |

As promised, here's a few tidbits of info. -The Sith hounds that appear are actual Korriban creatures. I wanted to stick closely to the source material so it didn't feel too fanfiction-y -The Sith academy is the very one featured in TOR. Glad they created one with such a brilliant design. Mine would've probably been rubbish. -I was going to add in another chapter between 1 and 2 as a way of showing Carletta rise through the crime world as a bounty hunter, but I felt the story needed to keep moving with the main plot. -The Sith trials are all of my own creation. It was kinda hard making them up. I knew they had to be brutal, arduous - ones that had easy potential to break people's spirits and I think I succeeded in that part. -As you may guess, Carletta's starting to feel quite a pull to the Dark Side, so we'll see how she handles that. |

Read Chapter 8. I see what you mean by cliffhanger. But yeah, it's getting interesting on if Carletta will become evil. I have a feeling she'll betray Matturn and Peligrous. And also, your descriptive imagery is really well written. |

Oh, I just want to say that chapter 9 will be a sort of mid-season finale kind of deal. Because I've been pretty busy, I'm way behind and since the story is about to take quite a shift, I think it'll work out. However, I don't think the "season break" will last long. Expect chapter 10 somewhere in April.

OK, so I know I was going to upload a new chapter yesterday, but sadly it's no complete yet. I've been helping my folks lately because we're getting new flooring for the hallway and carpet for the living room. However I promise to get it out around early next week. Sorry for all the delays, but chapter 9 is up now which concludes what I'd call the "first season". Right now I haven even written the next chapter, so I really need to get back that headstart I once had. For now I think I'll release new chapters when I'm done with the story. Fortunately that won't be long. At the way I see it, this'll be done in around five more chapters.
And by the way, thanks to all who've bothered to read this. I hope my writing doesn't come across as that of a novice like I think it does and you've enjoyed it so far.

Yeah its advancing but there haven't really been any big turns so far. That's why I want things to get really moving for the last leg of the story. I felt staying on Korriban was a bit of a drag, but now it's time to get a grander view and see Carletta and Matturn's progression as Master and Apprentice. Plus, there's going to be some nice appearances from a couple TOR characters, so that'll be fun. |

I'll hopefully finish the latest chapter and "season 2" can finally begin. Oh, and I plan on trying to release a chapter on Force Friday in September |

Expect the gaps to be in the vein of Gravity Falls And again, I really appreciate any criticism so I can hopefully improve with every chapter. |
