What if we spread it out a bit more and started earlier? Idk i'd prioritize TCW first easily. Truth be told theres a lot of GoT I don't want to rewatch. Whereas TCW is short episodes and I watched a lot of it much earlier. |

It isn't just a case of them having clunky set up for the final season, but that they've kinda lost the spirit of the show. But I really really hope I'm wrong. |

It's 67 episodes, so if you started now, you'd finish around March 2019 if you stuck to two episodes a week. It's manageable, but not sure I'd personally keep up with it. Yeah... I really would like to do a GOT rewatch on here though. It would be a lot of fun. I'm in. |

I am not sure about the poll. On the one hand, I think some of the individual characters will have good conclusions. On the other hand, I fear the overall conclusion will be too simple and predictable. Like the White Walkers just turn out to be pure evil, Jon defeats them and then he and Dany become the new rulers of Westoros. That would be the most predictable and boring ending. It will likely be more complicated than that, but I hope it will be completely different.

I think the conclusion will be satisfying, but it may end up being like ROTJ. In other words, it will give us what we want with a few surprises, but also some predictable parts. What's been set up is already so grand though that I don't see them taking any major missteps that will causes an unsatisfying conclusion (at least for me personally).
However, with a show so popular and so many theories circulating, it's certain that many fans will be disappointed unless this show manages to take a huge turn and gives us something extremely shocking and well-done.

Oh yeah I guess the emmys happened. GOT won for the third season in a row. No idea but ok.
It’s pretty weird how Seasons 1-4 were all snubbed.

I imagine the full trailer has to be dropping in the next few weeks. Perhaps it will coincide with the Superbowl, unless it thinks there's too much going on then and wants to release the week before or after.

When I first was caught up with Thrones, Season 5 was coming out. I liked Season 5 a lot more than most people, and I loved Season 6. So for like two years I thought GOT was the best thing ever and I was getting all my friends to watch it. But ever since the end of Season 7 I just haven’t given a shit.

I don’t know why I’ve been thinking about this lately but here it goes: did anyone else think Davos felt off in Season 7?
He seemed a bit too jokey and flippant the whole time they were in Dragonstone. Maybe it’s he’s because under Jon instead of Stannis now but a lot of what he did and said lacked the seriousness or earnestness that it used to have.
